message 11: by Barbara (new)

Barbara (blauri) | 2 comments My Sweet Audrina would be good because it's a standalone. Otherwise they need to continue the Dollangangers series with Petals on the Wind.

message 12: by Morgan (new)

Morgan Lentz (morganlentz) I'd love to see the rest of the Dollanganger series on film. Especially Garden of Shadows. That was my favorite besides Flowers.

message 20: by Galadriel (new)

Galadriel Thoman (khylira) | 4 comments They are definitely doing Petals on the Wind next, but after the Dollanganger series I want either Heaven or Dawn. They made a Ruby movie that I don't think anyone saw. I saw it on Netflix a while back. Heaven was always my absolute favorite when I was young (I even wanted to name my children Troy and Drake- I didn't though, lol) but I also really loved Dawn. If they would make them well, there's no end to what they could do! But I think they should stop after they go through the books that VC Andrews actually wrote. I won't even get started on how I feel about 20 more years of VC Andrews books that were written after she died- that's another thread!

me too. It was so unique and I never knew anything about Louisiana or the Cajuns or creoles till I read that series. Plus the whole long lost twin storyline was awesome!

message 35: by Laci (new)

Laci (lacireading) | 5 comments My sweet Audrina would be the perfect lifetime movie. Definitely should happen!!

message 36: by Mersedes (new)

Mersedes | 5 comments Petals in the Wind and the Casteel series. They were my favorite books. Heaven has to be my favorite protagonist of all the V.C Andrews books. :)

message 37: by Denise (new)

Denise Kuntz (denisekuntz) | 1 comments I have always wondered why V.C. Andrew's never made more movies from here books, for she has always been one of my favorite authors, since the age of 12! I still read her books to this day and I will be 50!

message 38: by Deepthought (new)

Deepthought (deepthought1) | 4 comments Petals on the Wind is my favourite VCA book. Merely because I call it one of the greatest literary subtefuges ever... Cathy madwoman narrator in the end turns the whole series on it's head and you begin to question.

Big clue : "Spanish moss that would in the end kill its host, I'd yet
to see it. Love that clung and killed." Cathy -Petals on the Wind.

"Out of the four Dresden Dolls only two were left. And one would do nothing. He had taken an oath to preserve life and keep alive even those who don't deserve to live " Cathy- Petals on the Wind"

message 39: by Fayann (new)

Fayann Morgan Malone (Feyann) | 1 comments I want them to make petals on the wind. I hope to see the whole series made in to movies!

message 40: by Temperance (new)

Temperance Elisabeth (Temperance_Elisabeth) | 2 comments I would like to see the entire Dollanganger series made into movies but only if they stay true to the books. The newest FITA movie was disappointing. I will never understand why they feel the need to add things that never happened in the book. I didn't like the house they used either. It wasn't grand enough. The Foxworth family wasn't just rich, they were Bill Gates wealthy. The house from the original film was great. On a side note I'd also like to see the Casteel series made into movies as well.

message 41: by Molly (new)

Molly Cook (cookmolly11) | 1 comments My sweet Audrina, hands down. This book made me an everlasting fan of V.C Andrews.
