Agata (kawcia) | 17 comments I would like to ask for help. I read a book long time ago, I think it was Nora's but I'm not 100% sure. I do not remember characters names. All I remember is that the main character's husband passed away and left her only old house in a small town/country side. They were rich and famous couple, that's why it was such a shock for everyone. She leaves the city to live in the old house and deal with her grieve. With time she understands that her loving husband knew it would be best for her to live her life and find another love.

I also remember she was making fruit and veggie preserves in her house. I think she hired someone to fix stuff in her house and he was her future love.

That is all I remember, I'd love to find out the title of this book and if it's not Nora's then who is author.

Thank you for your help!

Doesn't sound like anything I would have read either. Tho, I'll ask around (especially on the Nora Roberts Official Fan Page on Facebook)and see if anyone has ever heard of that book,if u want me to. Is it a trilogy,Agata? Or do u kno if it's a stand~alone noval?

Agata (kawcia) | 17 comments It was stand alone novel. I'm not sure if it was Nora's but I'd appreciate if you could ask around. I tried to google key words but I had no luck finding anything. Thank you ladies for trying to help me out :-)

Kate Curran (k8ie) No does not ring a bell with Nora books but sounds ok if you work out what it is please post the title and author

Melissa | 13 comments It sounds good, but not Nora. It almost sounds like a Nicholas Sparks book (except his endings are sooo sad).

I also need help with a book title. This was not a Nora book but I would love to read it again. It takes place in Houston (where I live and reason I remember the book). A girl and her archeologist dad are close, moms a real snob, she falls for boy on wrong side of tracks. I mostly recall she went on digs with her dad, and then he died and they called him a grave robber.

Any Ideas??

Melissa~hey. That book sounds like it was written from either Nicholas Sparks or Nora Roberts (and the reason of y I'm sayin' that is bcause the endin' is super sad which made me think of Nicholas Sparks's novals but then again it could've came from Nora Roberts bcause she wrote a noval called Birthright that I absolutely couldn't get into to save my own life, lol, and that made me think of her, it could b from either 1 or it could've been by a different book author)...I don't know. I know that I'm no count at all n tryin' to help u out but I'll post ur status up on facebook and see if anyone can try and help out so that I can let u know so u can get ur answers that u really need. Good luck on tryin' to find out the name of that book as well as the name of that book author.
