Which Book Setting Would You Most Want to Live in?

Whether it is a fictional setting, historical setting, or real setting described in a memoir, there are always many book settings we would really like to visit.

There are also a few book settings we wish we could somehow enter and live inside forever.

What book and it's setting would you most want to live in and why?

Historical and futuristic settings are appealing to me.

I am really drawn to the historical settings, but then I think how I would survive without some of the luxuries I have been accustomed to in our era. The future settings scare me a bit (I think I read too much dystopia!)

Oh, for me it's definitely Hobbiton from The Lord of the Rings. My friends just went to New Zealand, and they fell in love with the hobbit houses used on the set. The Green Dragon Inn is especially magical:

When I was a teen, I was enthralled with the world of Xanth by Piers Anthony. Today, however, I would choose Sphinx, the home world of Honor Harrington, which is created by David Weber.
