. I've heard about quite a few of these and some are already on my TBR list. :) There is 6 on that list that are on the groups list if i counted right.
Several of them are also on our list, not sure exactly how many. I've read 22 on that list of 35. That's a slightly higher proportion than I've read on our list of 50.Somebody posted a list here not too long ago and I hadn't even heard of most of them.

While lists like this assist in enhancing one's reading, I'm not convinced that I would call all of these book's life changing- that is one person's opinion. I've also seen another list, had read a fair amount from it. I find the concept of 'these books will change YOUR life' a bit Orwellian and a gross generalization. I haven't learnt life lessons form several of these books.
I'm trying to work my way through both the top 50 and top 100 books and although it's broadened my reading, there are definitely some books that I'd never recommend.
Here's a thought Mayra, how about asking the group members to each contribute their top 5 all time books and composing our own list- may have some weird and wonderful new ideas:-)
Lisa its like you read my mind lol. I was just thinking something along those lines. I'll start a seperate thread. :) Where did you get the list for 100 books?

I've read many of these and some of those I haven't are on my TBR list.
Only read two, Harper Lee & L.M Montgomery. Planning to read most of the classics and the Murakami.
