35 Books Everyone Should Read At Least Once In Their Lifetime

Somebody posted a list here not too long ago and I hadn't even heard of most of them.

Several are on my to read list.
While lists like this assist in enhancing one's reading, I'm not convinced that I would call all of these book's life changing- that is one person's opinion. I've also seen another list, had read a fair amount from it. I find the concept of 'these books will change YOUR life' a bit Orwellian and a gross generalization. I haven't learnt life lessons form several of these books.
I'm trying to work my way through both the top 50 and top 100 books and although it's broadened my reading, there are definitely some books that I'd never recommend.
