What Are You Reading? 2015

lol exactly. If you're in love with someone, show me why this person has pulled such a strong emotion from you.

I need to read this one too. So many great reviews.

Let me know how you like

OMG yes you do Bridget and it won't take you anytime to read it. This book was so quick to read I was surprised.

Omgoodness Bridget. I'm only 20% through & hooked. I know Belkis said the beginning is slow, but it's really not. World building is fantastic. I'm really liking it. Let me know how you like

You can't go wrong with either one :) they're both great!

Yay! Yay! YAY! I loved every single second of them (all of the books) but I thought it was my bias since many readers thought the beginning a bit slow so I always warn just in case. I'm so happy you're enjoying it Donna. This is another addicting series by EH.

I will Donna. Glad to hear that about HF too! I'm sure it will be next on my list.

Sorry you didn't like it, hon. It does sound frustrating, I hate it when we're expected to feel something but aren't given the time to actually get there with the characters.

Oh!! FIY frustrated the hell out of me too! After the bomb-dropping opening, it was like the book became something completely different with personality changes and all. Very strange, and it just didn't flow.

I finished
and really wasn't impressed, unfortunately. Not sure what it was, but I just wasn't feeling this one.
Wrapping up
and yet another crazy-hot alpha male from Casey Quinn!! Don't love it as much as I did
series, but it is hard to match.
Next up for me will be

I'm so glad it wasn't just me then Erin. Could not for the life of me get past that beginning and never warmed up to the MC's.

I really liked The Trylle series.

If I can get through this weekend with limited interruptions, I am going to try to read the entire trilogy by the weekend(Since most tv shows are gone off)

How was winner's curse? I am picking it maybe next week and I hear good and bad about it.
I am not looking for anything romance heavy. I wish for a decent read with some action.

Micah, I hope you'll love it too. It's a really quick read so you should have no problem finishing all 3 books this weekend...then you'll be sad it's over.

It wasn't bad. My biggest issue with it was that it was really slow and didn't get truly interesting until after 200 pages give or take. This isn't romance heavy at all, the romance is very subtle. I'd say there's more intrigue than action.

Funny, I enjoyed the second book much more than the first. I thought the first was way too much like THG.

My biggest complaint with it Brooke is that it seems to be a Cia-fest if that makes any sense?? It has a completely different rhythm than the first book and almost feels like a different story somehow. And where the hell is Thomas?! I guess maybe I need to get through the second half which I'm working on now. I'm hoping it gets better for me.

Did you like TWC? I loved that book."
I loved TWC too Brooke :)

You just reminded me I still need to finish off the Kylie Ryans story. I still haven't read book 2

It's awesome!!! Love that series :)

Oh I'm so happy you loved it Mandy!!! I'm telling you EH's books are like a drug they're so addicting :D

So true! I haven't read her Cambio Springs Series, though. That's the only series I haven't gotten to now

He'll show up. I think there's a method to Joelle's madness with keeping him at a distance. Beware, the book ends on a cliffy.

OMGOSH I'm still reading
. I'm at 86% and it's DRAGGING! And there is so much telling. This author, how the heck did DISNEY think this book was good? UGH! I might have to put it down and pick up something else for today. I am supposed to review the second book and thought this would be a fast read, but it's turning out slow and I might not review the other book before it's publication date in just a few days! ARGH!

The story has picked-up considerably after the first half Brooke. Thank goodness! And yes, Thomas has showed up and I'm happier with it now. Almost finished. A cliffie ending you saw?! *insert loud groan here* Crap, the last book isn't out yet :( sigh..... Thanks for your insight Brooke :) Oh YAY! Graduation Day releases June 3rd so not too long of a wait thank goodness because cliffhangers are brutal!

Take a break from it Brooke and come back to it later on. That's what I do when a particular book is not thrilling me. I did that last night and it helped a lot :)

I've read her Cambio Springs series already :) was super excited when she first announced it and so I stalked for it LOL! Grabbed the prequel as soon as it was available and fell in love with it (yeah I know, big surprise hahahaha!) followed it up with book 1 and the next novella. Liked them all and the series is quite interesting/different from her other PNR series since it's about shifters. But in her brilliance, just as intricately detailed and wonderfully written. I have yet to read anything from EH that I have not truly enjoyed. Can't wait for book 2 to release for Cambio Springs. EH says it'll be her next book release so I'm jumping up and down with excitement :D
I just finished
and I am so up in the air about this one. It just has me all discombobulated.
I am listening to
and it's pretty good but it doesn't feel like part of the previous ones.

Yes, it is Belkis and I loved the book but I'm not sure what to think about the ending. He is such a control freak that it's hard to imagine him doing that. Of well...it just broke my heart.

Yeah, that's what I'm doing. Reading something else and then I'll go back. Just have to figure out what that something else is! LOL!

Yeah Tracy, loads of mixed feelings battling it out at the end of it for sure. I think that because it was such a turbulent story with such an intense cocktail of emotions warring throughout the whole book it takes a while after finishing it off to make sense of all the feelings. I for one am crossing my fingers that she writes a followup book to it. I'd love to read more on these messed-up characters LOL!

UGH! That's awful! I HATE stories with characters like that. With no real emotional development. That's the same I felt about
