Belkis (bminaya) | 8313 comments Work has been too intense for me to get much reading time in lately. Very frustrating. I'm almost done listening to I Am Wolf (The Children of Nox, #1) by Joann Buchanan and I'm enjoying it so far. Have had it for a long time. Not sure what I'll be starting next, but I have lots of great ones to choose from and hopefully work will cooperate.

I really wanna read the fourth and final book in the series, but I cant afford it right now. So I will for one of the other dark historicals that I already have on my kindle.

OMGoodness see this is why I'm so obsessed! Have you read The Genius and the Muse by Elizabeth Hunter ? It's AMAZING! It's her only contemporary and I had it sitting in my kindle for a while until I read the first book in her EM series and then I couldn't get through her books fast enough and eventually got to it. Let me just say, DAAAMMMNNN!! Freaking AWESOME. But like, at the Colleen Hoover level awesome. When I was done reading this book, my love for EH turned into obsession. And the funny thing is that when I first bought it (with a different bookcover at that point) and read the book synopsis, I didn't know what to expect. And given the title "The Genius and the Muse" coming off of reading her PNR series, in my mind I thought it was going to have some paranormal elements, you know? But no! It's a contemporary. But OMG, BRILLIANT. I highly recommend. It's part of my sacred "MOST LOVED EVER" bookshelf. That's how wonderful a read it was for me.
