I loved this one. I remember reading it in nearly one sitting.

Krissie (infernal_stars) | 11 comments I'm currenly rereading City of Fallen Angels (The Mortal Instruments, #4) by Cassandra Clare , and I think I understand why this is the probably the least liked book of the series. Not as much snarky dialogue as the previous books; the characters are always grumpy and whiny (Like who shoved a stick up YOUR butt?); and there's so much making out during the first half that it's ridiculous. Things are FINALLY picking up though! (After 300 pages :P)

After this I plan to pick up City of Lost Souls (The Mortal Instruments, #5) by Cassandra Clare and then diligently await City of Heavenly Fire (The Mortal Instruments, #6) by Cassandra Clare . In the mean time, I'll be reading The Iron Witch (The Iron Witch, #1) by Karen Mahoney Switched (Trylle, #1) by Amanda Hocking Torn (Trylle, #2) by Amanda Hocking

I was such a fan of this series, all the way until the last book, which was a huge let down for me. The further you read though the more rehashing the author does. it can get a little annoying but you have to keep in mind that a lot of people were waiting a year between reading books and you really can forget a lot during that time. Sorry you're not liking these that much.

No I remember that, but it's always been annoying to me lol. Especially when I read back to back, which btw is the best way to read a series no having to wait lol. I enjoy the series just not that book that book was terrible.

I could not finished TMI I got sooooo annoyed with the constant POV change in the middle of me wanting to know about the character we just left. I couldn't take it anymore so I had to drop it. It isn't my fav. I enjoyed the story, until the pov got moved from being on Clary to everyone else by the book I got to. I think it might have been book 4 maybe.

Danielle (Danniegurl) (danniesreads) | 1326 comments I am currently reading The Alpha's Mate (The Wolvers, #1) by Jacqueline Rhoades it's ok I'm almost done, it's a bit different but it also doesn't go into detail during the uh together scenes, which is fine, but the author tells in detail leading up to that point. Anyways it's not your typical werewolf shifter book.

Eta Sookie and I are taking a break right now lol.

Danielle (Danniegurl) (danniesreads) | 1326 comments Well I finished The Alpha's Mate (The Wolvers, #1) by Jacqueline Rhoades it was good. Debating if Sookie and I should resume our relationship or stay broken up for a bit longer.... Let's see what I dig up from my tbrs.

Yes, Belkis. I am loving The Scribe (Irin Chronicles, #1) by Elizabeth Hunter . I started it and I believe Cat & Bones will have to wait. I was immediately sucked in. I mean, voices, Grigori, Ava's strange tendencies, and the mysterious Malachi? Who wouldn't be completely enthralled. I'm sensing early on that this will be a fav of mine. Thank you for your recommendation:)

Micah (sinvega) | 76 comments WHEW! Ladies you MUST add Captive prince to your lists.

Can I fanboy for a moment? This is one of the better reads(5 stars) I've read this year. I literally can't complain about anything(I wished it was 3rd person but 1st works well).

It's Action Packed, It has twists and turns and one of my top favorite Anti-hero bad boy types and a Protag that I actually like.

The romance is hinted at but hasn't actually really reach acknowledgement really, it's just they are less antagonistic and showing shades of concern.

Laurent is my favorite(the bad boy) and Damon(the protag) definitely had me rooting for him and I am in love with this series/trilogy,

I am going to read book 2 now
Captive Prince Volume Two (Captive Prince, #2) by S.U. Pacat

Slow reading week last week, but I finished Teaching Willow Session Four by Paige James and wow what a finish! Loved this serial, it's crazy sexy and all kinds of torment.

Taking my time with Sweet Reckoning (The Sweet Trilogy, #3) by Wendy Higgins because I don't want it to be over *sniff*, and working through Night Child (Night, #3) by Lisa Kessler which is just okay so far.

I'm guilty of the same "1 click buying thing" and my pile just keeps growing and growing LOL! And so many of them are really good ones that you can't make up your mind on which one to read first! Then every time we turn around there are new releases that we've been waiting on that we just HAVE to read, and so it goes. Like a vicious never-ending cycle. But The Scribe is fantastic so I'd definitely recommend moving it up your TBR :)
