I really wasn't a fan of this one. The sample was great but then I started to get disappointed once I bought it. Really didn't like the MC.

Same here, interesting characters and the plot had a lot of potential, but it was super over the top. I didnt really like the back and forth either.

It is very good Victoria and an easy quick read as well. I read the last two back to back and was very sad when it was over even though I loved the ending.

OMG Victoria, I agree with Tracy it is so quick and easy. I am almost finished with the last book and I'm so sad. It's soooo good! I've read the series so quickly.

I liked it. I can't say I'm the hugest fan of Dante and Charlie together and it did get a little soap opera-ish at times but it was a good conclusion to the series.

Danielle (Danniegurl) (danniesreads) | 1326 comments Finished From Dead to Worse (Sookie Stackhouse, #8) by Charlaine Harris gave it 2 stars because the story well there wasn't really one. There were like a gazillion minor stories and they didn't make a huge impact. I also felt there was way too much rehashing and description. But of course I'll read the next one!

Yes Bridget, the first book is The Scribe (Irin Chronicles, #1) by Elizabeth Hunter and Bridget it is so freaking intense and unique and the paranormal aspects are intricately spun throughout the story which has a fresh take on angels. And the world-building is fantastic. Elizabeth Hunter is such a gifted storyteller! She pulls you into the worlds and stories she creates with such ease and they're so beautiful and layered and as a reader you get swept away and never want to stop! And the romance is intense and slow-burning and GAH! it just punches you in the gut! I can't recommend this story enough. Definitely a must read IMO for any of her fans and/or lovers of PNR.

The second book was pretty good too Veronica Lola and the Boy Next Door (Anna and the French Kiss, #2) by Stephanie Perkins and Anna & Etienne make appearances in it which is nice. I didn't like it as much as the first book but it was still a great read and many readers loved it just as much as Anna And The French Kiss. Another great one that for some reason strikes the same love chord for me is That Boy (That Boy, #1) by Jillian Dodd this is another story that I absolutely loved.

Hmmm, can't remember if I've mentioned these to you or not Danielle. I haven't read them yet but they're on my short list of PNR series to read and they're pretty popular with readers and have really high ratings and reviews. Maybe check these out and see if any of them pique your interest Dead, Undead, or Somewhere in Between (Rhiannon's Law, #1) by J.A. Saare Wicked as They Come (Blud, #1) by Delilah S. Dawson Pandora's Box (The Road to Hell #1) by Gracen Miller Nevermore (Nevermore, #1) by Kelly Creagh King Hall (Forever Evermore, #1) by Scarlett Dawn Fighting Destiny (The Fae Chronicles, #1) by Amelia Hutchins Kiss of Fire (Imdalind #1) by Rebecca Ethington Now I read the first one of these PNR and really loved them and haven't had time to read the rest but I'm definitely planning to so maybe you might want to check these out as well Born of Night (The League, #1) by Sherrilyn Kenyon On the Edge (The Edge, #1) by Ilona Andrews Dragon Bound (Elder Races, #1) by Thea Harrison hope you find something you like in these. Happy hunting :)
