What Are You Reading? 2015

Goodness still need to read Greed and now Fury is out too :( feels like I'm never going to catch up...

Totally loving Mateo :P he's so HAWT! LOL! Haven't had much reading time this week. Work has been crazier than usual so my reading time has been nonexistent. Looking forward to the weekend so I can finally read something.

Right?! Isn't she brilliant Ekaterine :D I'll help with the cooking and organizing. I'm very good at both of these.

Cool Danielle, you can be our community Tree Librarian :D see Tracy, our town is growing! We just need some people who can build stuff. You know, like houses and stuff. So we'd have where to live.

I've got to get to MILA too before my galley runs out on it.
Finished
this afternoon...*le sigh*...Lucas is such a tragic and heartbreaking character, I just adore him so much more now!! The story dragged a little at parts for me, but it was just a brilliant way to bring us into his sexy bad boy mind!!

Have you read
series or
series yet? I really liked the first two books of the Ashfall series (haven't gotten to book three, these are LONG books), it is an absolutely brilliant and hard-hitting story. My son flew through Maze Runner and can't wait to see the movie, and it's definitely unlike anything you've read before. Both series are great guy-perspective dystopians.

Yes! I'm so glad, that was one of my favorite reads last year :)

I missed the download, but I have a physical copy from ALA.

I have this series but haven't started it yet. I've heard good things. I like romance, too, though.

I read them back to back as well Tiana. Can't say enough about them. The next one has a little more romance but its a distant one. He certainly doesn't have time for much he's busy saving his country.

A YA fantasy, a children's novel, and a classic--it's like I've got a little bit of every soul-food group ;).

Love GS! I'm almost caught up with the Lords, then I'll start her other series.

I forgot that was out!

Yay! I really liked that series :)

If you like Adult PNR I highly highly recommend Charley Davidson series.

The main guy is.......shady but we love him anyways. It's a muder mystery type plot, snark, main character is a chick but she rocks. Excellent series.
Another adult PNR is the night huntress series. Still female lead but still pretty cool.

Most of the dystopians I've read are femaie, and the 3rd books suck, Matched, and Delierium both had bad endings IMO.
Let me think of others.

Oh I have them and plan on starting The False Prince soon. I'm excited to hear that so many of you guys loved it so I'm sure it's going to be a very good read for me as well :)

I've really enjoyed His Fair Assassin series Rachel. The first 2 books were really good. Hope you enjoy Dark Triumph.

Oh Rebecca, how did you like Destroyed?

LOVE both these PNR series :D the MC's are awesome! And actually all of the characters in both are pretty great.

Oh Kate, I have this one and still haven't read it. I'll have to dig it out of my huge TBR pile and move it into my ASAP shelf then :)

Oh good Tracy because I bought the first one on audio to see if I liked the narration :) so YAY!

Even without the romance aspect, I love it! I can't believe how much Jaron goes through. I'm on to

I decided to step out of my usual ya dystopian and jump into a book that is definitely anything but. I am now reading

It has excellent reviews.

LOL, that is definitely different from your usual. I've not read that those particular books but m/m romance were new to me this year and I now love the genre, probably one of my favourites now :)
(Note to Goodreads: Stop telling me I'm spelling favourites wrong, I'm not :p )

Oh Sara I bought this one too :) let me know how you like it when you're done reading it please.

Oh Lynn, you totally made laugh :D thanks I need that this morning.

It was ok. 3-stars.

I started dabbling in that a little Lynn. I had to choose a genre or sub genre that I had never read before and that didn't leave me many choices. So by the end of the year I need to read 20 of them so if you have any recommendations I'll take them.

Thanks Rebecca, so I can wait on reading it for a while then :)

I would say so, but that could be just me.

I couldn't decide between 3 or stars, think I gave it 4 in the end. It was a love / hate book for me; I really liked the characters, the idea of the book and the slow burn of the story. However some of the plot was so over the top and unbelievable that knocked my rating down. A lot of potential that didn't quite fulfil.

Are you just looking for straight m/m romance (no pun intended!) or are you happy with things like BDSM, ménage etc chucked in there with some of the recommendations too?

I like pretty much anything except westerns. haha! I love BDSM but I haven't read menage so yeah those would be good to Lynn.

Yes Brooke the ending of Boundless was a bit frustrating for me too because of the way the character was left sort of hanging without closure. I wish the author would write a followup book to remedy it.
