I keep waiting for someone to post a book on here that I've read before so I can comment. But people keep posting book I've never heard of. This isn't helping me reduce my to read shelf.

Well what do you typically read? What are you in the mood for? Maybe we can suggest until something pops up for you. What I do is I go to google sometimes and type in the top "genre" I'm looking for and it'll usually bring up the listopias from goodreads and I go through those to see if I can find something. Then I go to recommendations look over there, and also ask for a recommendation in that section if I still can't find something I look through my tbrs until sketching jumps out.

Yep I went and did it I'm in the middle of anyone whose read this story ever thing geez do all the men in this book have a thing for Sookie? If Sam's not kissing her, Bills showing possession, Eric is inquiring about what happened between them, Alcide is asking her to date him, Calvin is prospecting her for kids lol it goes on and on. It's a bit extreme to me.

One of the million of challenges that I am doing is to start with a book you really like and read something off the "Readers Also Enjoyed" list in the upper right corner of the GoodReads book page.

Or you could go to the Recommendations option on the top line of options on the GoodReads screen. And pick one of your shelves that represents what you are in the mood for and GR will suggest books to you.

Or you can do a challenge that will direct your reading. (This is my current favorite, hence the million challenges in progress.)

I started watching True Blood because of the books and after season 1 I was like WTH!!! but I did enjoy the first 3 seasons and can happily say Im glad this season is the last and believe there are only going to be 8 or 9 episodes because the show got so cray cray and far from the books.
Bridget Im like you I could go on and on and on they really are two different stories eventually. There was also talk about a movie that Allen Ball wants to do a Movie of True Blood but who knows. I was glad when he stepped back from the show but by then it was so far from the books it really didnt matter anymore.

I liked book 2 better than book 1 in The Testing, way too much like THG in general, though.

Yeah Independent Study was better but I really didnt like the way it ended I had to look at make sure I didnt miss a chapter or something it was like it just cuts off I hate those kinds of cliffy endings they are the worst!

Yup, stupid cut off cliffhangers. I've had the next one for a while but just have not had time to get to it. I don't love the series like I did THG or Divergent.

I enjoyed Vain Ekaterine and have The Avery Shaw Experiment sitting in my kindle so happy to know that it's a good one. And YUM!! More Landon/Lucas to look forward too for me too. Definitely looking forward to reading more of his story :D

Don't know what the heck's going on with GR :( I hadn't gotten any of these posts. So I finally got to the point with where I'm "In LOVE" with the story! Totally loving it right now and it's gutting me at the same time. So I have a love/cry fest going on right now with this wonderful book.

I'm anxious to see how the final season will be, Laura. I did not enjoy the last two and I'm hoping it redeems itself for the final.
