This SO looks like something I would love, but there are some terrible reviews. I'm going to be anxiously awaiting yours and Rebecca's reactions, I need a HEA and to see if it really doesn't have a storyline like others said. =/

It has the storyline of most captor stories. Just getting the woman into the relationship. It's mostly the captor himself that is making me love this. Although I think a conflict will be introduced near the end. But I will let you know how it goes for sure.

Finished Only Everything (True Love, #1) by Kieran Scott .Started off with a bang but then was a bit slower than I would have liked. Sweet story, though. Starting Deep Blue (Waterfire Saga, #1) by Jennifer Donnelly now

message 3923: by Bridget (new)

Bridget | 1517 comments Finished Nash (Marked Men, #4) by Jay Crownover . It was good, but not as good as the previous books in the series. I think it was the female mc that I didn't like as much. Now I'm starting Bender (The Core Four, #1) by Stacy Borel .

Woohoo!!! Sounds good, I may have to set out to read this soon. But I might need to read a book without a lot of sex, since I'm coming off a shifter mater book. But I'll definitely be reading it soon then!!

Danielle (Danniegurl) (danniesreads) | 1326 comments So I finished To Trust a Wolf (Whispering Springs Werewolves, #1) by Kate Steele , it was ok, I mean it's just like any shifter mate book with minimal plot and lots of sex. But the dialogue got to me as sounding too much like it's fake to me. Overall though it was a nice sweet read. Now I'm seriously debating reading the next Sookie on my list....or maybe something else. I need something with plot and I hear the next book in Sookie she doesn't hook up with anyone but has a half dozen guys who want her....

I'm only about 30% into Bruiser so far Tracy, but let me tell you, I am SO impressed with this book. It is clever, unique, and the two main characters are exceptionally funny. I think this is going to end up being one of my favorite reads of the year :)

I just finished Alpha & ... Well, don't hate me, but it really didn't do it for me. This may sound ludicrous but is there such a thing as too much sex and not enough story? Yeah, crazy I know, but that's how I felt. Maybe I'm jealous that they had sex for the entire book, or my wacky hormones, but yeah... It just didn't do it for me. I think I need to switch genres for a bit, read a cooking book or something. Lol.

That's not crazy Donna I've felt like that with many smexy books too. I mean I appreciate the sex scenes as long as the story doesn't feel sacrificed or hindered because of it.

Belkis (bminaya) | 8313 comments Okay I finished Play with Me (With Me in Seattle, #3) by Kristen Proby earlier and it was another good one in this series. I'm still working my way through Love, In English by Karina Halle and enjoying it so far. I do have to say that it hasn't wowed me yet but it's very good so far. Plan on reading some very anticipated releases that are coming out in the next couple of days The Singer (Irin Chronicles, #2) by Elizabeth Hunter Nowhere but Here by Renée Carlino Finally, Forever (First Comes Love, #3) by Katie Kacvinsky woohoo!!
