Yeah could be. Sometimes we just don't feel the narrator. I'm okay with it so far.

I wasn't a huge fan of The Testing, but I did enjoy Independent Study. The Testing was too much like THG for me. And yes, The Forever Song is FANTASTIC!

I wasn't a huge fan of The Testing. Too much narrative, too much telling rather than showing. I was frustrated for most of it. And it was very similar to THG, so that bugged me. But Independent Study is good, totally different.

I'm loving the Raven Boys series so much Bridget. The author has it slated for 4 books and the next book Blue Lily, Lily Blue (The Raven Cycle, #3) by Maggie Stiefvater is supossed to release in October 28th. Can't wait for it to come out!! OMG the cover is so beautiful. And I agree with you on Gansey, he's my favorite too along with Blue of course :)

I agree. I loved the imagination and writting was flawless, but there were few issues. It was really good, though. Roth *sigh* at first he really seemed like Seth copy, but he got his own personality pretty soon. He is awesome. I was really happy that there was not much of a love triangle, even though blurb suggested.

I would tell you not to waste your time Danielle, but I did enjoy it till 5th book. Then it got creepy, weird, same old and down right horrible. And the way she ended the series will piss you off. Oh, Sookie doesn't get any brighter either. But Eric is hot. :)) So don't have high hopes. I enjoyed tv-show more than books, but man, they screwed that up too.

For some reason this series never appealed to me. Same thing with Chicagoland series. Or House of Night. I did try the first book to several others that I'm reading pretty regularly or planning on continuing like In Death, Kate Daniels, Mercy Thompson, The Edge, Georgina Kincaid, but I can't offer anything regarding Sookie Stackhouse other than many readers seem to enjoy it.
