and even though this trilogy is very YA it's really good.

gave it 3.5 it was a bit disappointing for a Suzanne Wright book, the story telling in this book was more explaining than experience, which bugged the crap out of me. It's not what I've cd to expect from her. There were a butt load of sex scenes, which were good, but were quite a lot and were where we were experiencing it with them, sometimes.

and it was simply amazing. for all of you who have read this series I think this was the best book so far.and the ones who haven't read it. IT'S A MUST!
really a beautiful series, the last book comes out in August so there's not much time to wait.

Ahh!! I picked it up but haven't gotten to it yet. I think I may wait to read until August though so I can just read them both in a row

I have all of the books sitting in my kindle Kitlina and I love Jillian Dodd's writing so I'll have to move this series up in my ASAP shelf.

I think I'll do that too Amanda so that I don't have to wait for anything to release and just read them back to back.

Might push this one back on my TBR even though I've had it for a long time doesn't sound like I need to rush into it.

I liked it a lot and the ending was nice and tidy enough that it could be left there without urgency to read book 2. But since you're happy with book 2 enough to recommend it I'll be sure to get to it :)

Very interesting story and solid writing.

All four need to be read for the whole story but it's a really good series that I thoroughly enjoyed.

Like you said it's not perfect but it was still a great story and I loved the writing and the characters and thought the story was a very unique retelling.

and it was amazing! Up there with Z's story for me. What I absolutely loved about it was that it focused on not just Phury but everyone else. John Matthew? Quinn & Blay? Changes to the Society? Tohr? Rev?! I know I'm a little behind but its soooo good! Jeez - so freaking amazing that this comes out of jr ward's mind. Awesome!

The BDB series is so different from other pnr/uf series. I love the fact that in every book we get to follow the entire bunch of vamps. And so many plots being woven together is fantastic. Love this series so much Donna and I'm so happy you're enjoying it so much too. All the books are pretty great so you're going to continue having loads of reading fun for sure with this one!

Its been a while since I read them though. Are you talking about Bill and Sookie. They did get together pretty quickly but it didn't seem to rushed too me.
