Belkis (bminaya) | 8313 comments So I decided I needed a light & fluffy read since my work weeks have been crazier than usual and started Fiance by Friday by Catherine Bybee for our Birthstone YC, win-win! Almost done and enjoying it as usual with this series :)

Danielle (Danniegurl) (danniesreads) | 1326 comments Finished Some Girls Bite (Chicagoland Vampires, #1) by Chloe Neill and it was ehh I rated it 3 stars for trying, but the plot is barely there. I am going to continue just so I can know what if anything will happen.

This series has been hit or miss for me. Now its comfortable but I loved the first one.

Taking a break from Firstborn by Lorie Ann Grover as it's really tedious and repetitive and reading Foreplay (The Ivy Chronicles, #1) by Sophie Jordan which is fantastic so far!

Kind of know what you mean. If you're coming off reading the Lumatere series this might not cut it for you. It's hard going from something you really liked to something not as good. Just finished Clockwork Princess (The Infernal Devices, #3) by Cassandra Clare and I'm pretty sure I'm going to have that problem.

Yea it's sort of like a vague story with not a ton of action more society politics type of book. And then there is the hot unattainable vamp that I want to be with in reach or attainable and I'd like it to happen now lol.

Read The Wicked Girls by Alex Marwood Been wanting to read this one for awhile now. It wasnt bad the Narrator did a pretty amazing job but sadly that didnt save it from getting to the point of predictable. still not a bad book a little twisted like Gone Girl but not as psycho!

Victoria | 259 comments finishing up Quintana of Charyn (Lumatere Chronicles, #3) by Melina Marchetta and I am going to be so sad to see it end. I have loved every minute of it... *sigh* Will definitely be buying this series for my home library because I know I will want to read this again.
Then I have Falling Kingdoms (Falling Kingdoms, #1) by Morgan Rhodes sitting here waiting to start. I hope it is good, I don't know much about it- just randomly picked it up at the library.

message 3522: by Teresa (new)

Teresa | 606 comments I'm starting Star Cursed (The Cahill Witch Chronicles, #2) by Jessica Spotswood . I really liked the first book in this series and I think the 3rd will be out in a few months so I won't have to wait forever for the sequel which I hate doing. The author liked my review of the first book in this series Born Wicked (The Cahill Witch Chronicles, #1) by Jessica Spotswood which I thought was really cool (I'm such a book geek). I don't write that many reviews actually but since I liked the book so much I felt compelled to say a few words about it.
