Danielle (Danniegurl) (danniesreads) | 1326 comments Still reading Grave Dance (Alex Craft, #2) by Kalayna Price I love this series, it's soooo interesting especially with mixing witches and fae! And then there is the slight romance which idk if she will choose or ever choose it's sort of a triangle but each is almost unattainable and I suspect something bad is going to happen soon.

Yeah I surprised too Esther LOL! But to tell you them truth, I was a bit put off by the reviews of the next 2 books in the Graceling trilogy. However, I've always wanted to read the first one, so I decided to jump in and read Graceling at least and see how I feel about continuing with the next ones. I did enjoy the Divergent trilogy a lot :)

Danielle (Danniegurl) (danniesreads) | 1326 comments Well this just sucks donkey butt. The next book in the Alex Craft series has no release date and the author has not been active at all in 2013 and so books 4 and 5 have no release dates at all. I really hope this isn't a series that drops off the face of the earth she has a talent for writing. Ughhh.

I just finished Grave Dance (Alex Craft, #2) by Kalayna Price and that ending was really awesome but also a clif soooo I want to know what is going to happen but I can't get the next book cause of the release ugh.

She has "personal problems" but apparently it's been pushed back 3x it was supposed to release in 2013 so I have no idea what's going on and this would be book 4 of the series.

She also hasn't been maintaining ANY of her author pages. I hear that it's set to release in July 2014 but wouldn't amazon say that this early?

So I read that books 2 and 3 were just loosely based around the first. That's kind of why I never rushed out to read them. Is that true?

Apparently The second book happens about 40 years before Graceling and happens in different world. And the third book Bitterblue happens 8 years after Graceling. I've heard that Katsa and Po are in the 3rd book. I hope thats true because I want to know what happened after Graceling!

Yes that is true. Fire is very loosely attached to Graceling, and Katsa and Po appear in Bitterblue, but so does Fire, so it all comes together.

Nicole and Rebecca ♥ and I all agree. They are loosely based around the same land and some of the same characters overlap.

I really liked Katsa and Po in Graceling, but not as much in Bitterblue and that's one of the main reasons why I wasn't crazy about Bitterblue. And the main love story in Bitterblue wasn't my favorite.

We were out at our new house for the weekend and we don't have internet hooked up yet, I had GR withdrawals!! lol I'm crazy busy working on fixing up the place and trying to get our current house ready to put on the market, not much time for reading these days. I finished To Professor, with Love (Forbidden Men, #2) by Linda Kage which was another great Kage read.

Also flew through Unfixable by Tessa Bailey which I LOVED. Seriously, my favorite of Tessa Bailey's yet and I 've liked everything she's written. The woman's got a gift!

Met up with Wendy last week and she gave me my ARC of Sweet Reckoning (The Sweet Trilogy, #3) by Wendy Higgins , very much looking forward to more Kaidan, and I'm also reading Finally Mine by Anne Hansen and Teaching Willow Session Three by Paige James which already has my stomach in knots!

I'm glad you liked GoN, it was painful for me and I really hate saying that. It took such an odd turn in the plot and character development, I just feel like it was an attempt to keep the story going on when it really needs to finally have the HEA!

Belkis (bminaya) | 8313 comments I have to say that Graceling (Graceling Realm, #1) by Kristin Cashore is not really thrilling me much. Finding it a little too blah for me. I guess I should've read this one a long time ago because I've read other similar stories that I've enjoyed so much more so that puts a damper on it somehow I think. Oh well, almost done. Not bad in any way, just an okay read for me so this series will end with book 1 for me. AND THEN I will start The Forever Song (Blood of Eden, #3) by Julie Kagawa EEEKKKPPP!!!
