The Elemental series.. it was really good. Storm (Elemental, #1) by Brigid Kemmerer , Spark (Elemental, #2) by Brigid Kemmerer , Spirit (Elemental, #3) by Brigid Kemmerer .
The Raven Boys (The Raven Cycle, #1) by Maggie Stiefvater and The Dream Thieves (The Raven Cycle, #2) by Maggie Stiefvater are really, really good although it switches POVS around, it does follow the guys POVs a lot.

Victoria | 259 comments I am finishing up Froi of the Exiles (Lumatere Chronicles, #2) by Melina Marchetta which I have LOVED! and hoping to go right into Quintana of Charyn (Lumatere Chronicles, #3) by Melina Marchetta because I can not get enough of this series. I will be so sad to finish it. I have been getting them from the library, but I am going to have to purchase these for my home library because I will definitely be reading these again!

Still reading Sweet Reckoning (The Sweet Trilogy, #3) by Wendy Higgins and it's taking me much longer than I'd like, which means I'm really not all that into it. I'm at 65% and I'm waiting for something to happen, besides all the romance/making out scenes that keep popping up! I think I need to open a me read today so I can redirect myself. Finished Camp Payback (Camp Boyfriend, #2) by J.K. Rock yesterday, FINALLY! I wasn't impressed. I will give it a 3 but it just didn't grab me as much as the first and the novellas. I could not STAND the MC, even after her epiphany, which came in the last 10% of the book!!!

Keep reading. The first 1/2 or so is a bit slow, but it's good world building, which is needed. And you'll meet other characters and then it will change.

Eboni (nicolenking) | 79 comments Just finished Destined (House of Night, #9) by P.C. Cast and I am officially done with this series. The House of Night series started off great to the point it was my favorite young adult series. But now, I can't stand to read anymore of this crap. I feel like the authors are just grasping at straws now. Everybody had a point a view in the books now. I'm just waiting for the janitor or a stray bird to start their own pov.

My sister hated this book so I was pretty sure I would too because we have similiar tastes. I wound up kinda liking it, not loving it. I will say, in my opinion, that the writing isn't great and the characters aren't all that likeable but in the end I thought it was kind of sweet (in a very dysfunctional I hope my daughter doesn't turn out like this sorta way). It's weird the types of books you wind up liking and the ones you don't. Basically I'm just trying to say you aren't the only one who didn't love this book :)
