I have contemplated reading this author many times and haven't. Do you like him MadameZelda? I love mysteries and I think a lot of his are mystery, right?

I'm up to date with series as well Laura. I really liked the earlier books then they got boring but they have started to pick up again.

I am enjoying this and will continue the series. It's fast-paced. It can get gruesome, though, as Sarah Roberts is after murderers. There are some inconsistencies (most authors are guilty), but I still love the stories.

Laura (llbasaldua) | 790 comments Finished Blood Games (Chicagoland Vampires, #10) by Chloe Neill meh it had its moments but still not up to par. I just started Dark Debt (Chicagoland Vampires, #11) by Chloe Neill Its ok so far but I really just started it maybe 30 minutes in.

I really hope this one picks up again. I cant believe I made it through the series already I thought they would last me till end of the year or into next they were just going to be "filler books" between books I cant wait to get my hands on!!

message 23419: by Laura (new)

Laura (llbasaldua) | 790 comments Dark Debt (Chicagoland Vampires, #11) by Chloe Neill Like so many other books/series is really starting to get repetitive and boring. I think somethin has to change or she needs to end it. And tahts not just me Ive read some reviews and many of the fans are starting to feel the way I do and the ratings are getting lower... Anyways I know I wont be jumping to get Midnight Marked (Chicagoland Vampires, #12) by Chloe Neill

Ive been a fan of Neill for awhile now and I must say her Firespell (Dark Elite, #1) by Chloe Neill Hexbound (Dark Elite, #2) by Chloe Neill Charmfall (Dark Elite, #3) by Chloe Neill YA series started out strong and actually didnt have an ending ... and I mean that literally many fans waited for another book to be released it wasnt exactly a cliffhanger ending but way too much left wide open for there not to be another book So starting this series was for me taking a chance . Like Dark Elite it started out strong and has gone down hill. On that note Dark Debt (Chicagoland Vampires, #11) by Chloe Neill I gave 2 stars ....

I usually prefer a series to be kept at a trilogy. Unless it is a series that feature multiple couples like The League, Maiden Lane, or New Species. I want those to never end.
