Oh I'm sorry to hear that Beatrice. Yeah it takes a little while to get into the story but once you get invested in the new characters and story-line it ends up being pretty good, at least it was for me.

Struggling through both For the Record by Charlotte Huang and Pucked Up (Pucked, #2) by Helena Hunting . Both may get DNFs from me. I'm 45% in to the first. I will give it to 50% and then I'll have to give up if nothing interesting happens. As for the second, I'm 33% in and I'm not sure how much longer I'll give it. I don't want to waste my time with books I can't get into. The second one is making me sad not to like it, but it's just not good.

I know I hate it when you don't like a book you have been looking forward to it. I had one a few reads ago that I just couldn't finish even when the other 2 books I read by the author were great. I hope you find a great read to make you forget you didn't enjoy the last two.

I know!! I'm super excited. The only thing I'm annoyed with is that you have to buy the book from them (when I could have pre-ordered and had it to read by the release date instead of two days later) and you can only bring 1 book to sign per book you buy from the store. I only wanted to get November 9, so I can only bring 1 book to get signed. I am going to pack them all, though, just in case. I don't have the slammed series in print or Hopeless, so perhaps if I buy other books there, I can get my others signed. Who knows when I'll ever get to see her again. She's doing a tother signing the next day in NY but I just can't get there.

Yeah, For The Record was not what I thought it would be. I was bored through most of it and really pushed myself to finish it. Pucked Up has it's moments. I pushed a bit and now I'm invested in the story. It definitely gets better as it goes on. I am missing the hockey part of it, though. There's NOTHING in the book related to hockey aside from Buck talking about it. I like to have that in my sports themed books.

Oh Ive had them on Audio for some time now. I just started them at a time when soo much was going on in my life and soo many good books were releasing. Which again will be the case lol Ill put them aside again Until I finsih Winter (The Lunar Chronicles, #4) by Marissa Meyer and November 9 by Colleen Hoover then again when Sweet Ruin (Immortals After Dark, #15) by Kresley Cole releases and then In January I have many things to celebrate and more book releases. LOL so yeah Ill eventually get througfh them but so far the series has yet to make me want to put any other books on hold and do a CLV marathon Catch-up till #12 Midnight Marked (Chicagoland Vampires, #12) by Chloe Neill releases in March. But who knows I might be caught up by then.
