I am reading the Wolves of Mercy Falls series by the same author that wrote the Raven Boys. I am loving her writing and characters and I can't wait to get to the Raven Boy series. I hear it is even better then this series.

So sorry. :( I hate not being able to read. I couldn't read books for years because of an illness and it was horrible. I had to read short magazine articles just to have something to read.

Lol! Vacation when you read, I love that. :-)

Yeah at least you can read some. That's always good. I have to take reading breaks because I read so many to try to catch up I make myself sick. There is NO catching up in the book world. It's a blessing and a curse :-)

I too wear progressive lenses Sandra but thank goodness my vision is fine with them, no blurriness. But I've been wearing progressives for about 6 years now and I wear mine all day since I work in front of a computer screen all day long. Hopefully your eyes will adjust to them soon.

It totally is, Nicole! I liked the Wolves of Mercy Falls, but the Raven Cycle is a whole new level of interesting. There is so much to the story, the characters, the history, and it's a bit darker too, which is something I like ;).

Jenny (juliababyjen) | 1075 comments I finished reading Archangel Evolution (The Evolution Trilogy, #3) by David Estes and I LOVED it! Really awesome ending. I'm so glad I reread the first 2 books, and finally read the last book in this trilogy!

Almost done with my reread of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (Harry Potter, #1) by J.K. Rowling I've been going slow, trying to just soak it all up. Its been awhile since I reread these...they seriously get better every time! I'm going to watch the movie again after I finish the reread :)

Next I'm reading 100 Sideways Miles by Andrew Smith

Lol I have been in love with Kyon from the start :) I do really like Trey but I can't help it, I have a weakness for murdery psychos!!

I've finished it now and it was really awesome but I hope there's a 4th book, it ended kind of weirdly. I can understand why it might end like that but I don't think I'm alone in wanting more :)

Laura (llbasaldua) | 790 comments Finished The Retribution of Mara Dyer (Mara Dyer, #3) by Michelle Hodkin 3 stars. I felt like it lost its way everything kinda did a 360 and went in a different direction ... didnt care for most of the book.

Then I jumped into The Opportunist (Love Me with Lies, #1) by Tarryn Fisher 3.5 it was ok. Then Dirty Red (Love Me with Lies, #2) by Tarryn Fisher 3 stars had absolutely no feeling for Leah ... didnt hate her or dislike her just didnt care at all about her. I hoped she would of changed but of course she didnt. I dont feel this book did anything for the storyline ... Thief (Love Me with Lies, #3) by Tarryn Fisher 3 stars again I just couldnt get into this book the Narrators voice did nothing for me,I restarted the book 5 times!! before I finally got past chapter 4! again I didnt feel this book made any progress it was all the same ol crap that started in the first book they all just got older and more dramatic. Meh was not for me I guess.

Now not sure what Im starting next.
