Don't worry about being in the extreme minority, I often am too. I did like Laini Taylor's series. The second book was my favorite. I thought it was really poetic. The first took me a while to get into because I didn't like Karou at first, thought she was a bit silly, but she definitely evolved at the end of the book and then I liked it more. The third book was good but a bit long for my taste

FOL is good Erin! It started slow for me but it was really good. I cried a few times ... But I think I enjoyed FOC Flat-Out Celeste (Flat-Out Love, #2) by Jessica Park more. Celeste is a very fascinating character

Don't worry. There have been heaps of books that are well loved that I didn't enjoy. Fifty Shades of Grey is a prime example.

I keep wondering if I'm missing something also, Anna. That's why I keep telling myself I should do a re-read.

Bridget | 1517 comments Read a few good ones over the last week. Daughter of Aphrodite (The Daughter Trilogy, #1) by C.M. Owens and Daughter of Asteria (The Daughter Trilogy Book 2) by C.M. Owens were good pnr. Im starting the third one Daughter of Kaos (The Daughter Trilogy Book 3) by C.M. Owens now (by the way, the first is free on amazon). Also read Revved (Revved, #1) by Samantha Towle (super hot), Ricochet by Keri Lake (crazily addictive) and The Scarlet Deep (Elemental World #3) by Elizabeth Hunter (of course I loved it).

I think this was my favorite book of the three, although the fourth book has four POV's which I really enjoyed, but the ending didn't WOW me.

Not saying anything else except that I loved the story - so completely action packed, full of lots of ass-kicking and of course some massive revelations! Fortunately it's not such a massive cliff-hanger as book 3 so as much as the wait will kill me I don't feel too hungover right now
