Quieter for me as I realize I really should post only YA and NA books.
I am reading book 3,
. (17-year-old main character) Gruesome and gory, but interesting.I read and finished
re 22-year-old female and 35-year-old male. Average formula contemporary romance novel.
Started
yesterday and finished today. I really enjoyed it. I like Jordan's books a lot. I did have one small issue with it, but I won't put that here because it's a spoiler.

Just finished
and
and I have to say I'm glad I decided to stick it out because I actually ended up enjoying the final book (although it probably could have been a couple hundred pages shorter)....book 5 was...frustrating, to say the least, and there were like a million moments I was screaming at my iPad because of how stupid Clary was! I think a lot of CoLS could have been chucked and the first third of book 6 put into book 5 but whatever...
Pretty much I kept turning the pages for the TID crossover with Brother Zachariah - I think if I hadn't already read and loved TID I wouldn't have been nearly as invested in these books...also I liked Simon and Isabelle. And in the last book I liked getting to know Emma and Julian - I'm hoping they'll make good MCs for The Dark Artifices...I also think the premise for that series is quite promising
Alright. I've hit a low. Taking a break on anything new for the moment - have a lot going on in my life right now. I'm just about done with
and I like it. Stopped listening to
and
. I feel like reading a Kresley Cole pnr book, but there's nothing new out... think I may do a reread of
- something fun (I'm all over the place!).

Teresa wrote: "I'm reading

Donna wrote: "Alright. I've hit a low. Taking a break on anything new for the moment - have a lot going on in my life right now. I'm just about done with

Donna wrote: "Ash wrote: "Just finished

Teresa wrote: "I'm reading

but haven't read the first or 2nd book yet.
I just finished
and I liked it. I guess it depends on your taste as the ratings are all over the place.

I still need to read this one Diana. I noticed that the ratings were a little up and down as well.

Finished
I'm not really sure what to rate this one...I think I'll settle on a 3.5. I didn't like this one nearly as much as Will Grayson, The Fault in Our Stars, or Looking for Alaska. Honestly, this one was pretty depressing. I did love about the last third of it. The road trip was the best part, and made the book worth reading. I also loved the whole concept of "paper towns" and I'm a sucker for maps :)
Just finished:
I honestly feel like I am owed a personal apology from Laini Taylor for what my emotions just went through. I'm torn between needing the next book in the series right now and needing a recovery period. What beautiful writing! Very few pages passed that I wasn't touched by the way the author described something. It took me a few chapters to get into it but I can see why this book has so many fans.

It's pretty good, but very fairy taley for sure. Sort of reminds me of Neil Gaiman's stuff. If you like that sort of thing then you will enjoy this for sure.
So I finished
which was really good but not what I expected. It was a lot more fairy tale like than I thought it would be. That's fine though because I've loved fairy tales since I was a kid. I just started
and so far so good.

I know I'm in the extreme minority here, but I just did not like this book. I almost didn't finish it. I don't know if I was in a funk and it was a fluke or what. I've always said i would go back and try to re read it. It has been well over three years since I read it. I've yet to hear anyone dislike it like I did.

I've read about half of it so far and I like it but I'm not amazed so far, but I've had a rough last couple of months with anything holding my attention so it might be me.
Finished
, it was completely addicting even though it was really over the top a lot of the times. Loved it! Now I'm reading our Annie's next work, plus
