Also finished Sky on Fire (Monument 14, #2) by Emmy Laybourne today in one sitting! A very quick, intense read!

Click on the "add book/author" link above the text box. Then type in the book you want and click the "cover" circle at the bottom or the pop up box. When you search and find your cover, just click "add"

Really liked Gravity. I'm a big Melissa West fan. I beta read for her! I really need to finish that series, though!

Bridget | 1517 comments Finished Tyrant (King, #2) by T.M. Frazier late last night and wow. Just wow. It was unbelievably good. I was worried the sequel would never live up to how great King was, but I was so very wrong. Belkis get to this ASAP!! And @Donna, you must put King to the top of your list.

ha ha ha ha, I do want to read this series but it does make me laugh that this supposed standalone, which was then made into a duology, NOW seems to have a third book coming out!

Yes, but the third book is about another character. The second book wraps up King & Doe's story. So you don't have to read it if you didn't want to. I do hope you give it a try though.

Finished '89 Walls by Katie Pierson and I liked the theme but then the ending was just flat and blah. No real ending, it just stopped. Annoying. Still reading Dissonance (Dissonance, #1) by Erica O'Rourke which I really like, but it's taking me a long time and I don't know why. Reading The Lost Hero (The Heroes of Olympus, #1) by Rick Riordan with my son. Which I like! And started #Poser (Hashtag, #5) by Cambria Hebert because I can't stop myself from starting new books. Plus I am still beta reading Your B&B or Mine? by Melissa West . GAH! I need to finish up these books so my vacation is free and clear!

(sorry, pet peeve). But steadily got worse. Now there's a second book. I cant do it. I just cant. I'm finishing up The Wanderer (Thunder Point, #1) by Robyn Carr , then hopefully onto King (King, #1) by T.M. Frazier !!

message 21777: by Nicole D. (new)

Nicole D. (thereadingrebel) | 969 comments listened to The Rise (The Originals, #1) by Julie Plec and enjoyed it. Wish there had been more action and it was told from First Person and not third. IMO It would have been better that way.

read Over the Line (Alpha Ops, #2) by Emmy Curtis and loved it even more then the other book of her's I read Pushing the Limit (Alpha Ops, #3) by Emmy Curtis .

reading Shiver (The Wolves of Mercy Falls, #1) by Maggie Stiefvater . I started this once and then put it down(a month or so ago) because I wasn't in the YA mood but picked it up and restarted it. I haven't read a pure werewolf book since the Nightshade series and am really looking forward to getting into it.

I agree that Snakeroot was the weakest book, but I still enjoyed it. I still haven't read the adult Nightshade book yet. Rift and Rise the prequel novels were my favorites. I did love Bloodrose which I know most people hated.

Finished Breaking Kate (Acceptance, #1) by D. Kelly which was pretty good but I'm not sure I'll go on in the series. It's a love triangle, and with a 50/50 chance of rooting for the wrong guy through 3 books I'm hesitant. lol

Tore through my ARC of Throttled (Wild Riders #1) by Elizabeth Lee , really excited for this series because this was a great read and the side characters are all worthy of their own books to come!!

Looks like I'll be reading King (King, #1) by T.M. Frazier next!

Donna | 1350 comments Starting King (King, #1) by T.M. Frazier (Finally!) and also started listening to Emerald Green (Precious Stone Trilogy, #3) by Kerstin Gier . Almost done with listening to Shadow and Bone (The Grisha, #1) by Leigh Bardugo and it is so fantastic! I've remembered why I liked the first book so much - I acutally think I like it more the second time around!
