What Are You Reading? 2015

Yes! One month away! Almost time for a series-so-far re-read!!!
I had a thought about Dorian the other day which would be so awesome if it happened....what if that collar thing turns him into a Darkling-esque bad boy??...I may actually fall a little in love with him if that happens!

Lol I know, how silly I was! But I struggled so much with SM though, and it wasn't until I FINALLY got to the end of it that I was like 'okay, I really want to read the next one now!'

I'll have to add this one to my tbr Jenny. I saw a while back that you really liked this one and the title and bookcover did grab my attention so I guess I need to look into it some more :)

I'm glad you didn't give up and ended up enjoying it. It's such a great series.

Hahahaha! I like how you think Ash LOL! That would be sort of awesome :P

Finished

It was SOO good. For a .5 book especially good. I am really loving the series.

Woohoo!!! I can't wait for

Really wishing I'd decided to tackle this series again before ELB - this hangover is disastrous and it would be handy to have a book I was so psyched about come out just in time to aid my recovery!

Yep we understand and are here for you Ash we all went through major Warner withdrawals when we read it too. It's a tough one to get over. I hope you find another really good book to read next.

Jinni's Wish is really great. I loved that one.

Oh these look good, paula. I just downloaded Storm.

My other option is to start my re-read of ToG early but I'd prefer to wait til the end of the month for that

I haven't read Delirium (though I've heard good things) but I loved Splintered.

Let me know what you think of Storm. :D

I haven't read Splintered but I have read Delirium. I would say it was just okay, not bad but not great. I think quite a few people are fans of it though so it might just be me. I haven't read Matched but have heard it's similar to Delirium with most saying Delirium is the better one out of the two. Book hangovers are the worst. I'm so looking forward to Queen of Shadows and Winter!!!

Definitely looking forward to QoS and Winter! So many great books coming out soon!

I CANNOT wait either, Belkis!! Woohoo!!

restarted

I am loving my reread of

Can't wait for

Ugh, GR gets all jumbled :$ my original reply got all messed up, sorry. Getting over a great read is very hard so I feel for you. I tried but couldn't get into Splintered it just wasn't for me. And Delirium has never appealed to me so I haven't read it. Then lastly, I'm in the minority when it comes to Matched as I actually enjoyed the whole trilogy. I plan on reading these in the upcoming weeks maybe if you haven't read these something might catch your interest?

I liked Delirium more than Matched. But I didn't love the third book in the Delirium series. I would go for Splintered which is an awesome retelling!

Me too Donna, I've wanted to get to MT for a long time but of course still haven't been able to get to it either.

I so need to find time to get to Midnight Thief Nicole. Wanted to read it since before it came out and still haven't managed to read it. Maybe I'll just wait until all of the books are out and then I'll just read them back to back.

Oh Bridget let me know how you like Kaleb I've had it in my TBR forever too.

Thanks Teresa - would love to do this at some stage but atm I'm really struggling lol - tried splintered and it just didn't do it for me - I need to wait until I'm not so hungover!! Lol

Thanks Belkis! I have a few of these on my tbr so I'll add them to the pile to try this week lol...I've just downloaded

Today I'm going to get back to my MS and try to turn this book slump into a productive writing spell!

Yes!! Love this series so much!! The third and fourth books were my fave!! Ahh Han...sigh
I didn't see the similarity to HP though...oh maybe a little in the 2nd...for me I found when I read

Sure thing. I plan on starting it as soon as I finish the one I'm on.

Teresa I loved Delirium! The second one just confused me and I never read the third one because I read so many negative reviews. It was like the series started out with a bang, then just pissed people off over a love triangle.

Belkis I am loving Kaleb!! It is such a hot, smexy book. Like need to take a cold shower after reading it hot. I think you'll like it.

Oh I have The Witch Hunter too Ash so let us know how you like it please. And a genre change is a very good solution. I consistently switch up genres every other book to keep my reading from getting stale :p

Yes I'm reading book 2 and the whole sleeping arrangements into the houses and the wizards and Micah vs Han and the amulets and the magic I dunno it just gave me a sort of HP vibe :) loving it.

Yup you're right, book 2 is a tad HPish - I sort of forgot what happened in that one to be honest! ...I just remember I finished it at about 1am and had to move on to book 3 straight away! Screw sleep lol

Funny, the second one was my favorite of the three. I really didn't like that third one at all.

I just bought this one! I heard great things! Highly recommended by some trusted bookish friends.

I have the feeling it's going to be the same for me LOL!

Oh boy... sounds enticing.

How did you lik..."
It's not bad. I feel like the author tries to do too much at times and the plot gets jumbled but it's enjoyable nevertheless.
