What Are You Reading? 2015
Just finished
and thought it was good. An easy read, although predictable. I'll continue the series at some point. Started

I had a thought about Dorian the other day which would be so awesome if it happened....what if that collar thing turns him into a Darkling-esque bad boy??...I may actually fall a little in love with him if that happens!

Jenny wrote: "I saw that

Ash wrote: "Belkis wrote: "Ash wrote: "So I maaayy have gotten a little bored with my school reading and decided to read

EEEKKKPPP!!!
Okay...my Warner obsession has reached dizzying new heights after reading
!!! I have the same feeling I did when I finally started watching Arrow - like I'm a million years late to the party! At least arrow is still going though...although how I'm going to survive next season without Colton Haynes I have no idea...Really wishing I'd decided to tackle this series again before ELB - this hangover is disastrous and it would be handy to have a book I was so psyched about come out just in time to aid my recovery!
Ash wrote: "Okay...my Warner obsession has reached dizzying new heights after reading
!!! I have the same feeling I did when I finally started watching Arrow - like I'm a million..."Yep we understand and are here for you Ash we all went through major Warner withdrawals when we read it too. It's a tough one to get over. I hope you find another really good book to read next.

"Jinni's Wish is really great. I loved that one.
Okay I finished
it was good not great. Way way WAY too much soccer! And the ending was rushed. Oh well can't win them all I guess. Now starting
for one of our group buddy reads :)

So, I've been on vacation all this past week. One last hurrah before school starts back for my kids next week. Didn't have much reading time, but did manage to finish
. It was pretty good. Now I'm starting
, which I've had on tbr forever.
Hey people! So as you know I'm suffering terrible book hangover...I've done some looking around on GR though and am after opinions on which one of these I should tackle now:
or
?? I actually have no idea what I'm in the mood for right now, I feel so blah! But both of these look promising so your thoughts would be great...I do have a question though - is Delirium like
?? Cause I found that book to be booorrrriiinnnggg!! My other option is to start my re-read of ToG early but I'd prefer to wait til the end of the month for that
Ash wrote: "Hey people! So as you know I'm suffering terrible book hangover...I've done some looking around on GR though and am after opinions on which one of these I should tackle now: [bookcover:Splintered|1..."I haven't read Delirium (though I've heard good things) but I loved Splintered.

I would say it was just okay, not bad but not great. I think quite a few people are fans of it though so it might just be me. I haven't read Matched but have heard it's similar to Delirium with most saying Delirium is the better one out of the two. Book hangovers are the worst. I'm so looking forward to Queen of Shadows and Winter!!!

I read about 50 pages of
and then called it as a DNF. Life is too short to read books you just don't like. I won it in a blind giveaway so at least I didn't waste money on it. It wasn't badly written but it's just not my thing.restarted
and I am liking it but it's just not up to the author's usually standard. Probably going to be 3 stars. I know this is the last book so wrote before she died.I am loving my reread of
and I have about 130 pages left. Can't wait for
I haven't read a book in over a month. I would start and stop so many books. Finally I found
and finished it within a day. Loved it!!!
@ AshUgh, GR gets all jumbled :$ my original reply got all messed up, sorry. Getting over a great read is very hard so I feel for you. I tried but couldn't get into Splintered it just wasn't for me. And Delirium has never appealed to me so I haven't read it. Then lastly, I'm in the minority when it comes to Matched as I actually enjoyed the whole trilogy. I plan on reading these in the upcoming weeks maybe if you haven't read these something might catch your interest?

I liked Delirium more than Matched. But I didn't love the third book in the Delirium series. I would go for Splintered which is an awesome retelling!

Ash maybe we. Should do a Splintered buddy read. Looks like a lot of people liked it and now I'm intrigued:)
Donna wrote: "Oh the MT sounds great. Its been on my tbr list for awhile. I need to get to it."Me too Donna, I've wanted to get to MT for a long time but of course still haven't been able to get to it either.

Maybe I'll just wait until all of the books are out and then I'll just read them back to back.
Bridget wrote: "So, I've been on vacation all this past week. One last hurrah before school starts back for my kids next week. Didn't have much reading time, but did manage to finish [bookcover:Dirty Bad Savage|25..."Oh Bridget let me know how you like Kaleb I've had it in my TBR forever too.
I am loving
I'm halfway into it and it's so so good. It reminds me a little of Harry Potter :) such a good series so far. I'm so happy since I've wanted to read it for such a long time.
Teresa wrote: "Ash maybe we. Should do a Splintered buddy read. Lol

Thanks Belkis! I have a few of these on my tbr so I'll add them to the pile to try this week lol...I've just downloaded
which looks promising - maybe a complete genre change is what I needToday I'm going to get back to my MS and try to turn this book slump into a productive writing spell!

I didn't see the similarity to HP though...oh maybe a little in the 2nd...for me I found when I read
the week before last it reminded me of SR

The second one just confused me and I never read the third one because I read so many negative reviews. It was like the series started out with a bang, then just pissed people off over a love triangle.

Oh I have The Witch Hunter too Ash so let us know how you like it please. And a genre change is a very good solution. I consistently switch up genres every other book to keep my reading from getting stale :p

Funny, the second one was my favorite of the three. I really didn't like that third one at all.

It's not bad. I feel like the author tries to do too much at times and the plot gets jumbled but it's enjoyable nevertheless.
