Stolen Songbird is very good Jenny I'm looking forward to book 2! I'm so glad you're enjoying it. And The Orphan Queen is another book I really really need/want to get to. So many good ones woohoo!

Hahahahaha! Yes ma'am will do :D I honestly do want to get to it soon since I'm very interested in getting Adam's story.

LOVE LOVE The Fever series :)"
It's been a few months since I read the last book, but I was trying to figure out what I wanted to read next and decided I was in the mood for something paranormal with a bit of steam. Hopefully this will fit the bill.

I've recently started the Steampunk Chronicles and I love them!

Now reading

I know it is a great series. I hope the auther writes another steampunk YA series.

I'm a little over halfway through and loving it!

That would be awesome!
Do you want an original concept, or for it to take place in her current one?

It both excites and scares me.
I love the series so far though.

I really need to get to

Ahuh :) I just hope that if it does get picked up they do it justice and don't ruin it LOL! Well at least I've read the books so I'll always have that :P

No, I liked it. I didn't love it. I liked it better than the first one, but it's not a suck me in kind of story for me. 3 is good, it's not bad. It's medium!

If done right this will make an awesome movie. I can't wait!!!

Oh wow. This should make a great movie! Let's just hope they don't screw it up like so many others (City of Bones, Beautiful Creatures, Vampire Academy, etc).

@Melissa, these books are wonderful. So freaking addictive. I think you'll like them.

Ugh. I get so tired of mediocre books. Is it too much to ask for them all to wow me? Lol

Its exciting and yet not. I would hate it if they screwed it up.

So hard. I don't know. I would love to return to this world but I would love a new world. So either or she could just write both that would work too.

Must be...LOL!

Yup exactly! That be a big time suck :(

It's so disappointing whenever we get stuck with a "meh" read but I guess it's not realistic for us to expect all of them to be amazing LOL!

Agreed Teresa! I'm crossing my finger that they don't mess it up.

Okay thanks Brooke so I won't rush to get to them then. Lord knows I've got ton of books to get to.

Oh yeah Tracy :)

It's nice to see someone enjoying it! The reviews I've been seeing haven't been positive.

I LOVED this book too Bridget. I'm so glad you're enjoying it so much.

So I DNF'd a book an author sent me to read. It just was not for me. But now the author is emailing me asking when my review might go up (as she's in a group I'm in on FB and saw I posted that I was reading it!). WHAT DO I DO???

Funny your thoughts on Emancipated are how I felt about A Court of Thorns and Roses! LOL! I did finish it but it took me over a month and it was SOOOOO boring for me. I was sad.

You have a couple of options. 1 try again. 2. Skim through it to see if it gets better. 3. Tell her it just wasn't for you or 4. Pretend you didn't hear her.

I had this problem too. I tried again several times, and skimmed, and it was just no bueno. In the end, I went with option 4 :-/. Even with several attempts, I couldn't get through enough to feel like any review would have been fair.

It's TOTALLY different than that series. writing and everything is different. It's historical fiction. Honestly, I was meh about the first book. But I like this one better, perhaps because I know the characters. I'm 1/2 way through.
