I know it was written in like 1975 and all, but good writing is good writing. Look at all the classics. The writing is phenomenal. My friend, who I trust because she and I most often rate books exactly the same, recommended it. Now I'm just annoyed I'm reading it, but I'm 1/2 way in (and it's only 178 pages), so I will finish.

? I could have stayed up all night reading it, but forced myself to put it down at 26% because I didn't want to be a zombie today. You can bet your booty I am reading this one at work. Thank goodness for smart phones!

turned out to be a total waste of my perfectly good time. Cheesy, boring, predictable, and unoriginal. UGH! Going to start something else and hopefully it'll be great.

earlier today and i have to say I'm not too impressed. Maybe its the mood I'm in but i think its a dnf for me. Maybe I'll retry later, but I'm putting it down for now.

and I have to say I'm totally disappointed. It feels like it could be two books: Grey's Book and Sky's Book. But it doesn't feel like it's a book about Grey and Sky. I'm so sad. I LOVE Grey. I mean, his character, GAH! he's so great. And Sky isn't bad, though not my favorite in this series as far as females go. But they barely interact. There are chapters where they have life events but they don't even think about each other. Their chemistry at the beginning chapters is great and then "poof" it's just not there. I can't see it. GAH! I'm so sad.

It wasn't perfect MadameZelda, but it's pretty darn good! I honestly enjoyed the whole trilogy very much.

Okay so I dare to start reading
late last night and OMG! This is quite gripping to say the least. I stayed up way past what I should have because I couldn't stop once I got started so tonight there will definitely be more of this intense book. Sucks that I don't have much reading time during weekdays with work because this I so want to continue reading this one but it'll have to wait unfortunately. I'll be starting a new audiobook later today but not sure what I'm in the mood for right now.

But it doesn't feel like it's a book..."It's not even that they are attempting to extend the story. It started out with a bang. The first few chapters sucked me right in. Then at about 30% it started to be that each of these characters had stuff they were dealing with and they would talk about it in their chapters. BUT, in my experience with this type of book, the two characters are involved with each other's lives in some way. It's like they are totally separate from each other. I'm at 86% and they don't know much about each other's past or what is really currently going on with each of them. They have not talked too much. I just feel like in order for this to be their romance, I need more between them. But I'm not getting it. They have the girl go away for three weeks and the relationship is barely scratched the surface of where it should be by now. I don't know how else to explain it. If they are to be romantically involved in any way, even through just attraction, there should be moments where they learn about each other. Where they need to spend time together or whatever. I am just not getting that from them.

And all of a sudden they are together. Grrrr.... I don't think there will be another book for this couple. Each book is a stand alone with cross over characters. No idea if they are thinking about doing another. There are certainly possibilities, but not for this couple, IMO.

Well, book 1 is my favorite in the series, but book 3 was good. Not sure what people didn't like about it.

Gosh, I don't want t say without giving away Book 3's ending to others who may see it. But several told posted the ending and I just finished Book 1. So I've been shying away from Books 2 and 3.

Same thing for me Teresa. Enjoyed the whole series but book 1 is my favorite. Still recommend the trilogy to everyone because it's a great story and very well written.
