Seriously, though. I feel like someone needed to tell her that this was just meh. Not sure about her most recent book, but this one, eh. I know it was written in like 1975 and all, but good writing is good writing. Look at all the classics. The writing is phenomenal. My friend, who I trust because she and I most often rate books exactly the same, recommended it. Now I'm just annoyed I'm reading it, but I'm 1/2 way in (and it's only 178 pages), so I will finish.
And
? I could have stayed up all night reading it, but forced myself to put it down at 26% because I didn't want to be a zombie today. You can bet your booty I am reading this one at work. Thank goodness for smart phones!

Oh Victoria I LOVED The Law Of Moses. Amy Harmon is amazing. I hope you end up enjoying it.

I've heard good things about this. But when I read the blurb I wasn't sure I'd like it.

I'm sorry you're having a tough time Sarah. I hope you feel better and that you end up enjoying these books sweetie.

Woohoo Bridget you have me salivating over starting Karma soon :) can't wait to start it!

Haha. Finally, the tables have turned!! (insert evil laugh).

I'm glad you said that as I've been seeing comments about not liking book 3. That encourages me to read book 2. Thank!
86% into
and I have to say I'm totally disappointed. It feels like it could be two books: Grey's Book and Sky's Book. But it doesn't feel like it's a book about Grey and Sky. I'm so sad. I LOVE Grey. I mean, his character, GAH! he's so great. And Sky isn't bad, though not my favorite in this series as far as females go. But they barely interact. There are chapters where they have life events but they don't even think about each other. Their chemistry at the beginning chapters is great and then "poof" it's just not there. I can't see it. GAH! I'm so sad.

Hahahaha! Totally :D good job Bridget!

It wasn't perfect MadameZelda, but it's pretty darn good! I honestly enjoyed the whole trilogy very much.

Yay Teresa, I so glad you liked it. I enjoyed it as well.

I'm sorry Brooke. I hate it when books and/or stories that we fall in love with are ruined by attempts at extending the story more than necessary. Why can't they just leave well enough alone.

It's not even that they are attempting to extend the story. It started out with a bang. The first few chapters sucked me right in. Then at about 30% it started to be that each of these characters had stuff they were dealing with and they would talk about it in their chapters. BUT, in my experience with this type of book, the two characters are involved with each other's lives in some way. It's like they are totally separate from each other. I'm at 86% and they don't know much about each other's past or what is really currently going on with each of them. They have not talked too much. I just feel like in order for this to be their romance, I need more between them. But I'm not getting it. They have the girl go away for three weeks and the relationship is barely scratched the surface of where it should be by now. I don't know how else to explain it. If they are to be romantically involved in any way, even through just attraction, there should be moments where they learn about each other. Where they need to spend time together or whatever. I am just not getting that from them.

I LOVED the ending, it was definitely epic!

Have you read any others by this author Belkis? Specifically the one in which the h was introduced?

Nope Penni I haven't. This is my first book by this author. Didn't know that the h was introduced in another book. Thanks for the heads up :) now I need to go and check this out of course.

Oooohhhh, yeah, sounds like either the story well end up feeling disjointed or the ending will be rushed and still feel out of sorts. Hmmm... hopefully the author brings it home for you by the end Brooke. Or she'll be continuing the story with a followup book for this couple?? Sorry, has to be frustrating.

It was the second. It was definitely rushed in the end. And all of a sudden they are together. Grrrr.... I don't think there will be another book for this couple. Each book is a stand alone with cross over characters. No idea if they are thinking about doing another. There are certainly possibilities, but not for this couple, IMO.

I am so glad you're enjoying it!!

I didn't know that either Penni. This was my first by this author. Which series if hers was it?

Let me know how you like it Belkis! I'm reading it soon, my friend picked it for me to read this month :)

I saw something about the Song of David and was looking into it, but the blurb said to read this one first, so I decided to try it out and so far, so good :)

I wasn't sure either, but so far I like it. it is different but good. I wanted to read

I'm not sure - I just saw in a blurb somewhere that she was the sister of a main character in another book. At least I think I saw it lol....

OH yes, let me know how you like it. I downloaded a sample of it the other day.

I'm about 75% done with the audiobook for

OK - in the blurb for Karma - it says she was not the best sister in

Well, book 1 is my favorite in the series, but book 3 was good. Not sure what people didn't like about it.

Gosh, I don't want t say without giving away Book 3's ending to others who may see it. But several told posted the ending and I just finished Book 1. So I've been shying away from Books 2 and 3.

I really enjoyed this story Teresa. Hope you like it.

Bounce finished and it was just ok. Gave it a 3. I loved the male MC, not so much the female MC. But there was so much disconnect in their story lines the romance just was not beliveable for me. It started off with a bang and then it's like they went their own ways to figure out their stuff without each other. I'm disappointed.
Pitching to Win author sent me this so I started it. So far I love the story line but the author didn't check her tense and it changes too much and makes it hard to follow.

Yes it's great Victoria. I LOVE Amy Harmon's writing and will undoubtedly read everything she writes because she's yet to disappoint. I'm glad you're enjoying it.

I went to check this too Bridget and found

It's very good so far Jenny :) very interesting!

Ooooo Okay thanks Penni, I saw this series by her too.

Same thing for me Teresa. Enjoyed the whole series but book 1 is my favorite. Still recommend the trilogy to everyone because it's a great story and very well written.

I'm sorry, hopefully her next one will be as good as the first ones.
