Interested to see what you think of The Red Queen. I wasn't on the amazing bandwagon like so many others :(

I'm only a little ways into the audiobook since I started it late last night but I'm liking it so far Brooke. I'll keep you posted :)

Awesome Tracy! Wow I wish we could have done a buddy read with this one. But mine is in book form...so I would have lagged behind!

Look forward to your review :)

Yay! I felt the same way. So different but so good!

Yes, Belkis. It was great. You should definitely put it on the top of the pile.

Love Runaway King Bridget!

Love Runaway King Bridget!

I'm hoping the same thing with Grey Bridget. I still have to get to it and I'm hoping it doesn't bore me. And I really enjoyed the whole The Ascendance Trilogy I hope you enjoy it :)

Oh great Bridget, thanks for the heads up will move it up for sure!

I know This Shattered World was amazing. One of the scenes at the end made me cry it was so beautiful.

Yeah ACoTAR was just ok for me, too. It mad me sad that it was just ok.

I started and finished
last night. It was very short. I really love how Levithan takes normal every day life situations and makes you "see" them. I'm interested in reading the next installment in this series.
I am still trudging through
. I suspect I can try to finish it today. It's just not as good as the first book and probably won't get more than a 3 from me. It suffers from second book syndrome.
I will be starting
this weekend. I'm on the blog tour. I'm happy to participate, but I hate that the tour host didn't get the schedule and books out until yesterday. That only gives people 2 weeks to read and review.

LOVE the Starbound series!!

LOVE the Starbound books so much and the audios are fantastic. So happy you're loving them too Rachel. Can't wait for book 3 to release.

Yeah Teresa ACoTaR was rather disappointing for me as well. The writing qualities we love in Maas' books was still apparent but it just dragged horribly. The pacing was torture. EoD however is great so I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. I hope you're feeling better sweetie and that your day is a great one :)

Brooke and Belkis, you guys both said this book was a little slow but I'm such a Sarah Maas fan that I just had to give it a try. It was slow and I skimmed through parts for sure. It could have done with a good trimming. The other thing I didn't like was how close it was to Beauty and the Beast. I like fairytale retellings but this almost felt like a rip-off rather than a retelling.

How'd you like Knife of Never Letting Go. Been on my tbr and my ipod for qiute awihle. I have the audio - did you listen or read?

Loved The Knife of Never Letting Go. Never went on to The Ask and the Answer. No sure why.

It definitely could have been trimmed. She wrote this before TOG, so perhaps she's honed the craft more since then.

You definitely need to read them Penni. After I read them I got them on audio but haven't listened to them yet.

I read it. My library had the trilogy all in one back to back, so i'm just reading through them. Kind of like maze runner, the way they talk takes a little adjusting at first, but it's not bad once you get used to them. Im liking the series so far.

I felt the same way you do about both Every Day, such a unique take on everyday situations and possibilities of them being realities, genius really. And I had the same struggles with The Replaced and ended up rating it a 3 as well. The last 15-20% of the book are really good so stick it out :)

This is another series I have yet to get to :{

If anyone knows any good histoical mysteries let me know...have read all of Rhys Bowen's stuff as well as Lady Emily, Midwife Mysteries, Portia Adams...umm can't think of others right now
I like ones that have a) really interesting historical detail and b) hard to pick whodunit ...preferably a bit of romance also
