What Are You Reading? 2015

So happy you loved Unlit Star. It's one of my favorites!

Oh yes Sara I'm both smiling and teary eyed. It broke my heart and made it sing at the same time. So beautifully written.

Oh how awful :( I hope she gets her comeuppance soon!

This looks good but I can't do books with sad endings, they kill me so much. I will have to think on this.

That's exactly my problem Brooke :( I try and avoid as many as I can but I was not aware that this one was a sad one doe some reason. But it was beautiful.

Do I want to read thus one Belkis? It sounds like Hopeless or maybe Me Before You?

You probably would want to read this one Tracy. It's really great just a sad one. It's not like Hopeless or Me Before You, but it's still at the same level as far as interesting- well-written-great-characters. Highly recommend.

Finished
. So much potential but I just didn't feel it. Third person bugged me and I couldn't connect with the MC. And also the whole story was kind of unbelievable. And I didn't like how things kind of easily fell in place.
I'm going to start
as I heard it's amazing. I still need to finish

I'm going to start

I'm almost done with it and I'm totally in LOVE with it Jenny."

Just read the first chapter. It's a bit weird but I'm interested to see where it goes.

So for now Im jumping around getting to older books Ive had till this Fall/Winter when the books Im waiting for in series already in progress of reading come out.

I'm a few chapters in now. It's interesting. But my eyes are tired, so I may have to pick it up again tomorrow. Going to see if I can read a bit more.

I was mostly bored and struggled to read on. If E.L. James writes the 2nd book from Christians POV, I don't know if I am going to read it. If I decide to read it, then I would just skim through it and only really read the new stuff (when Ana wasn't around - and that's not often).
I mean, the book is not really bad. But there is just not enough new stuff happening to keep me interested and hold my attention. If you don't mind re-reading stories, then it will be fine. But it just didn't do it for me.
I did like the last 50 pages or so, where the story picks up after the ending of fifty shades of grey. That wasn't so bad - to know how he reacted.
The only good thing is, that there is no babbling from Ana (OMG, Oh God, my inner goddess,...). Christian isn't as emotional as Ana, as we all know. But there are some phrases he repeats - just not as annoying.

Yes, I heard about his phrases. I also saw some of the writing posted here and there and it just didn't appeal to me. If I'm going to read alternate POV, there has to be more to it than a retelling of what was in the first POV book.

EDIT: Just looked it up, and the 3rd book released in January! Completely missed it :) That looks like the final book in the series.
