Ooooh. You're so lucky. I've never been to any book signing or author events. I'd love to be able to go.

Kerr (paein) I'm reading Taste of Darkness (Healer, #3) by Maria V. Snyder but I don't know, I'm just not getting into this storyline as much as the others. I'm considering abandoning it for a bit and reading Poison (Tales from the Kingdoms, #1) by Sarah Pinborough

message 2060: by Bridget (new)

Bridget | 1517 comments I finished Take a Chance (Chances, #1; Rosemary Beach, #6) by Abbi Glines today on my lunch break. It was okay:( it could've been a lot better. Grant was always my favorite but his book fell a little flat. And of course it ended on a cliffhanger and now I have to wait to see what happens! But I will because even though it wasn't my favorite, Abbi Glines is a guilty pleasure for me. Anyways, I saw that Erin was talking about how much she enjoyed Full Measures by Rebecca Yarros so of course I went ahead and downloaded it because when Erin raves over something I usually love it too. So I'm hoping to start tonight.

What do you think of Perfect Ruin? I loved it but it got mixed reviews. And I thought Independent Study was MUCH better than the first one (which I wasn't particularly fond of). I have a copy of Graduation Day but haven't had a chance to pick it up yet.

Put down my beta read to read The Winner's Curse (Winner's Trilogy, #1) by Marie Rutkoski which came from Macmillan in the mail yesterday (I won a contest!). I have heard terrific things so I'm hoping it's good. On Chapter 5 and so far I like it. Seems to be a fantasy type novel, but I'm not 100% sure at this point.
