I liked this one, it was a good change-up for me from the NA I've been reading.

I wasn't thrilled with The Sin Eater's Daughter. It was just so lacking for me.

Oh okay, I thought it was just me and was waiting to see how you felt about it as you got through it Brooke. I felt like the story dragged throughout most of the it. I loved the first book and I did end up liking this second one but not like I did the first book. I still liked it enough that I'm looking forward to book 3 though.

Belkis (bminaya) | 8313 comments I love it when I fall in lust with a book and it lives up to my expectations. I waited and waited while The Girl at Midnight (The Girl at Midnight, #1) by Melissa Grey just sat in my kindle because I needed to bolster myself up before diving into it for fear of disappointment since I've had that happen with a few lately, but thank goodness, this one surpassed my expectations and happily delivered on it's promise of greatness. Cannot wait for book 2 to come out and diving into it the minute it releases :D
