Yep gave it 2 stars. I think I'm just not an Abbi Glines fan? I didn't like The Vincent Boys, DNF'd it actually.

Finished
. Had to push myself through it. So much angst and just unrealistic things that happened. I gave it a 2. I think I'm done with this author who everyone loves. Not for me. I am going to finish up

I finished my reread of
enjoyed it! Finished
--I was very confused reading this one. The last 4th of the book was very good, and things started to make more sense to me.Right now reading
mostly enjoying it, although sometimes the writing is a bit confusing.
I just finished
and I have to put that book in the Not For Me category. The pacing was off, it was really slow and I found myself bored. It felt like everything happened in the last thirty or so pages. I had a hard time connecting to the characters or feeling any emotions about what was happening as I read. Maybe because it was in 3rd person. But I've read plenty of other books told in 3rd person and had no problem connecting to the characters in them. I know this book is in a lot of people's TBR list. Don't let my opinion put you off. A lot of people really liked this book, sadly it wasn't a good fit for me.

I loved the Darkest Part of the Forest. It was a 5 star read for me. But then again, I love strange books, and this one fell in that category.
Jenny wrote: "I loved the Darkest Part of the Forest. It was a 5 star read for me. But then again, I love strange books, and this one fell in that category."A friend bought that for my bday in April!!! And I still haven't gotten to it. *sigh*. I'm glad you loved it :-). I hope to read it someday
Jenny wrote: "I loved the Darkest Part of the Forest. It was a 5 star read for me. But then again, I love strange books, and this one fell in that category."Yeah. I can see how some people would like it. It's perfect for Neil Gaiman fans, it reminded me a lot of his books. He's sort of hit or miss for me. I just love stories that are more emotional and gut wrenching and I felt sort of disconnected to this one.

It's out really soon. You won't have to wait long. And I had to squeeze in another ARC, so I'm reading
instead. Loving it, as with everything Bella Jewel writes.

YES!! When I read this, I made the mistake of starting it when I get in bed at 10pm. I am pretty sure I didn't sleep much that night!

Donna wrote: "@ Paula. Flawed Heart sounds GREAT. I'm gonna have to read it, of course."It was a really great read. But then, Bella Jewel rarely disappoints. It was quite emotional and yet really sexy.

I've had my fill of slow moving, oddly paced, unrelatable characters, story to last me for a while so far this year. So I will be staying away from this one.
Okay so I had a family filled weekend for Father's Day so I didn't get much reading or book chatting time but I'm enjoying
so and I also started
which of course I'm loving so far because all things Amy Harmon are wonderful.

Lunar chronicles are awesome. guaranteed you will love them. And you're reading them at the perfect time. The last in the series will be out in a few more months so that means no tortuous wait times to see how everything wraps up.
I'm halfway through

I've now started American Gods by Neil Gaiman. It's the first time I've read anything of his and am enjoying it so far. I find myself really liking the main character, Shadow.
