Hahahaha very true MadameZelda :P most of our tbrs are way too long. I try and reorganize mine once a year and this year I did really great and cut out more than half of the books that had piled up that I no longer had interest in reading. But I know that there are at least 800 books give or take that I do want to eventually get to so gotta keep them moving LOL! And then the new releases just keep on coming :D

I only read books 1 and 2. And after book 2, which I struggled to get through, I was done. I actually have signed copies of the trilogy, as she was at a B&N right near me a few years back. I figured I might as well get them signed. She was at a B&N in the city yesterday for the launch. There was NO way I was going!

Are you trying to kill my TBR list?!?!? God!!!

I finished Priest by Sierra Simone . I liked it, but it wasn't what I expected in the end. It was hot and smutty. Oh so incredibly hot and smutty, but there was so much sex that it was hard for me to see how he is that conflicted about breaking his vow when he whips his d**k out at every occasion. Lol.

Now starting The Scarlet Deep(Elemental World #3) by Elizabeth Hunter

Belkis (bminaya) | 8313 comments I finally finished A Pound of Flesh (A Pound of Flesh, #1) by Sophie Jackson and it was fantastically craptastic! UGH! I'm so frustrated. It was predictable, boring, and unoriginal. And so effing long! How is it possible to have pages and pages of nothing??!! I really want to know. What a disappointment. I really need to stop being such a bookcover hussie, it gets me stuck in crappy reads more often than not.

message 20628: by Belkis (new)

Belkis (bminaya) | 8313 comments I decided to dive into How to Seduce a Vampire (Without Really Trying) (Love at Stake, #15) by Kerrelyn Sparks for something PNR, romantic, fun and light. This series is an oldie favorite so I'll hang with these hot funny vamps without need of much thinking and hopefully it'll get me back to a good mood after the less than stellar reads I dealt with lately.

That is one way to see it. Like I said, it's worth it for the scorching hot sex, but it was lacking the drama. At times he was so whiny, I wanted to slap him with his bible. ;-)
