I'm glad you posted that because I was almost about to get that book. It's on one of the Goodreads best lists. If you thought it was boring I know I will. Sometimes I think I have the attention span of a five year old.

I've read the Uglies series. It was just so so for me. I felt like each book in the series had the exact same story line as the others. The only real difference was she's a "pretty" in the second and a "special" in the third. I remember feeling like I had just read the same book 3 times.

Yeah Teresa, major disappointment for me with this one. It had such potential. But the pacing is pure torture. The characters were really well done and the story is somewhat interesting, it's just felt soooooo slowwww and sort of lack-luster you know??

Dirty Thoughts (Mechanics of Love, #1) by Megan Erickson finishing up this one, it came out today. Started Dream of You (Wait for You, #4.5) by J. Lynn . It's a novella and I'm already 1/2 way done, so probably will finish it today, as well. Also started Don't Ever Change by M. Beth Bloom which is just ok so far. I'm not in love with the MC. Still trying to read Until Friday Night (The Field Party, #1) by Abbi Glines which is just meh for me.

Okay thanks! I'd picked it up not realizing the library only had the 1st book, so based on the feedback, don't think i'll be splurging to pick up the others.

Okay, I'm taking your word for it! =) I wish I didn't get quite so invested in the characters some times, it makes it hard for me to enjoy books that I know would be great, but make me mad because of choices the author makes. But I can't resist more of Jamie, he just does things to me...*wipes drool*

I've been kind of blah the past few weeks so I've been losing myself in some books that were either on my blog review list forever or just on my TBR too long. Her Dark Places (The Sutton Files, #1) by Kelly Killarney was so-so, but as I went to write up my blog review I realized the author has pulled the book and isn't finishing the series...complete waste of my time, then! Finished The Perfect Someday (The Mathews Family, #3) by Beverly Preston which was completely predictable but for my meh mood it served the purpose of being a decent cheesy romance. The Remingtons Spotlight on Love (Kindle Worlds Novella) by Kaira Rouda was better, I really enjoyed this one (thankfully!). Then I flew through MacRieve (Immortals After Dark, #13) by Kresley Cole , completely on a whim because it's out of order for the series but I just grabbed it off the shelf and it was perrrrrfect for what I needed!

Now I'm grabbing up Undeniably Chosen (Significance, #5) by Shelly Crane and Beautiful Broken Promises (Broken, #3) by Kimberly Lauren just to finally get to them before I start Outlander (Outlander, #1) by Diana Gabaldon !

MadameZelda I am enjoying Attraction (Elements of Chemistry #1; Hypothesis, #1.1) by Penny Reid , book 1 of 3. Very witty writing that I'm smiling/chuckling. She's a 19-year-old nerd with confidence issues.

Belkis (bminaya) | 8313 comments Well I'm enjoying Coda (Songs of Submission, #9) by C.D. Reiss about a third of the way through it. Also almost done with A Husband's Regret (Unwanted, #2) by Natasha Anders which is good so far. Then I think I will be jumping into Stolen Songbird (The Malediction Trilogy, #1) by Danielle L. Jensen Stranded with a Billionaire (Billionaire Boys Club, #1) by Jessica Clare and continuing with Hidden Summit (Virgin River, #17) by Robyn Carr but not sure in which order :)

Finished Dirty Thoughts (Mechanics of Love, #1) by Megan Erickson and Dream of You (Wait for You, #4.5) by J. Lynn yesterday. Both got 3s from me. Ericsson likes to write in 3rd person and I find it hard to connect to her characters, to be honest. As for the JLA story, well, it was typical JLA for me :)

Oh yeah, Jamie is amazing. Every time I read the books I picture the guy who plays him on the show who is beyond gorgeous. He was really the perfect choice. Claire not as much because her character in the book is supposed to have brown eyes, not blue.

I'm on hold for Lola and the Boy Next Door (Anna and the French Kiss, #2) by Stephanie Perkins at the library so hopefully that comes through. I also have The Darkest Part of the Forest by Holly Black checked out so I may start that.

Bridget | 1517 comments Almost halfway through the audio of These Broken Stars (Starbound, #1) by Amie Kaufman and it is so very good. It kind of reminds me of Under the Never Sky (Under the Never Sky, #1) by Veronica Rossi (minus Perry unfortunately) Read Not Quite Dating (Not Quite, #1) by Catherine Bybee liked it, so now onto Not Quite Mine (Not Quite, #2) by Catherine Bybee . Catherine Bybee is great if anyone hasn't read her. She writes easy, predictable romances, but they're great for filler or pick me up books.

The next one in the Wait For You series? because I wasn't too impressed with the last one. Actually, I wasn't too impressed with the last two. And she's also putting out the book from Daemon's POV. We shall see how that goes over. She has a huge fan base, though. So they will always do well.
