What Are You Reading? 2015

I'm glad you posted that because I was almost about to get that book. It's on one of the Goodreads best lists. If you thought it was boring I know I will. Sometimes I think I have the attention span of a five year old.

Major bummer! :/

I've read the Uglies series. It was just so so for me. I felt like each book in the series had the exact same story line as the others. The only real difference was she's a "pretty" in the second and a "special" in the third. I remember feeling like I had just read the same book 3 times.

Well that sucks :( The Uglies series never enticed me. Just didn't look like something I'd like to read and thank goodness I didn't. I would've been bored stupid LOL!

Yeah Teresa, major disappointment for me with this one. It had such potential. But the pacing is pure torture. The characters were really well done and the story is somewhat interesting, it's just felt soooooo slowwww and sort of lack-luster you know??

Yep Rachel, real bummer and at 492 pages? Ugh!

Okay thanks! I'd picked it up not realizing the library only had the 1st book, so based on the feedback, don't think i'll be splurging to pick up the others.

Now starting

Glad to hear it! And I know not every book will be a favorite, so as long as it's not a DNF for me I won't regret buying. =)

This holds most of my summer TBR, probably a lot of fall too!"
Oh that's awesome!! Props to the hubs, he deserves some extra non-reading time from you. LOL

Okay, I'm taking your word for it! =) I wish I didn't get quite so invested in the characters some times, it makes it hard for me to enjoy books that I know would be great, but make me mad because of choices the author makes. But I can't resist more of Jamie, he just does things to me...*wipes drool*

I've been kind of blah the past few weeks so I've been losing myself in some books that were either on my blog review list forever or just on my TBR too long.
was so-so, but as I went to write up my blog review I realized the author has pulled the book and isn't finishing the series...complete waste of my time, then! Finished
which was completely predictable but for my meh mood it served the purpose of being a decent cheesy romance.
was better, I really enjoyed this one (thankfully!). Then I flew through
, completely on a whim because it's out of order for the series but I just grabbed it off the shelf and it was perrrrrfect for what I needed!
Now I'm grabbing up
and
just to finally get to them before I start
!

Now I'm grabbing up

I love the Bloodlines series.

Oh MadameZelda, I bought these too because they looked very interesting so yay! Good to know that they're good :)

Finished
and
yesterday. Both got 3s from me. Ericsson likes to write in 3rd person and I find it hard to connect to her characters, to be honest. As for the JLA story, well, it was typical JLA for me :)

Oh this one looks good! I love clever romance!!

Oh, I'm super curious about

HAHAHA! I've already taken care of that ;)

Oh yeah, Jamie is amazing. Every time I read the books I picture the guy who plays him on the show who is beyond gorgeous. He was really the perfect choice. Claire not as much because her character in the book is supposed to have brown eyes, not blue.

OH, I've heard awesome things about

I will Rachel :) I'll be reading this one next for sure! Been wanting to dive into this one for a long time.

Dang it! I totally forgot about

LOL! Yup Donna, KA is definitely not an author you want to start reading at 11pm especially since her books are addicting and super long :P

Finished it last night. Yep, pretty much the same. I liked the story. The female MC was a bit d..."
Dang. I'm sure I'll get around to it. Is it too much to ask for another like the first couple Obsisian or the Covenant books?

McReive was awesome wasn't it?

Ok I added that first one to my wish list :-)

I just think that she's writing so fast and so much it's not possible for it to be more than it is.

Yeah, youre probably right. I'm still holding out hope for that next great one from her though.

Oh I hate that. I always feel like I need to finish a book too once I've started it.

The next one in the Wait For You series? because I wasn't too impressed with the last one. Actually, I wasn't too impressed with the last two. And she's also putting out the book from Daemon's POV. We shall see how that goes over. She has a huge fan base, though. So they will always do well.

I do enjoy Catherine Bybee's writing a lot Bridget. I like that her books are nice light, feel good romances. I think I've read all of her series at this point :)

WooHoo!! I grabbed this one too Brooke of course LOL! Let us know what you think please :P

Sadly yes Nicole :( once we're invested we hold out hope that it'll improve you know?? Oh well, different strokes and all that so maybe this one just wasn't for me.
