See I'm not a St. Clair fan. He's just ok for me. But I love Cricket! I love that he's a science nerd. Right up my alley!

Tied with Me was one of my least favorite in that series. Im not sure why But I did a back to back of that series in december I think Im not sure but I wasnt impressed. Some of them were good and some were just meh But I cant remember why I 2 starred Tied With Me.

Maybe you'll get a kick out of all the sweet iced tea and civil war re-enactment references :)

Im getting that feeling like I read this before but I know I havent I just bought the audio and havent touched the books on my shelf since I bought them. I have like 1 hour left of the audio and I just want it to end,no point in DNFing it now I put 5 hrs in already ...

Has anyone read the Outlander
series? I'm newly addicted to the tv series and decided to look ahead at the books (I know, I know, but this one is just WAY to hard on the nerves to not be prepared in advance), and now I'm wondering if I want to watch past this season. I know about the gut-wrenching season 1 ending, it's some comments I've read about later in the series that concern me. Don't judge, I just want to know what I'm getting into and I don't care if it "spoils" the plot. I am full-on head over heels for Jamie, there are just no words, and I can't go farther if this all goes to hell!!

And how did you like "The Singer"?

You really should give it a chance, Sylvia. It's beautiful. Actually, I found it to be even slightly better than Hopeless.

Even better. I like the sound of that.

Just read the blurb for

Elle Kennedy is on a roll for me with this series. She has cracked the college scene in a way that's light but feels really authentic. Plus, super sexy. So hooked!
Love the BB series also...next up will be

As with EK's books, I love that they have great characters, fast and funny dialogue, and steamy scenes. My all-time fave of theirs is still

Now I just need to find a good week to read Beautiful Secret. (IE: 1 day to read it and 6 days to get over the Christina Lauren hangover and decide I'm ready to resume living again)

I'll answer your question without giving too much away for the people who are planning on reading because I don't know how to do that hide spoiler thing.
Jamie is amazing. He's probably one of the best male book heroes ever created IMO. He stays amazing and actually his character gets better in each book. Book 2 is told mostly in flashbacks. Claire and Jamie get separated and the book starts 20 years in the future from where book 1 left off as Claire explains to her daughter what happened between her and Jamie. The book is really good but the ending left me in tears. Books 3 & 4 were really good as Claire and Jamie reunite and then Jamie even gets to meet his daughter. After I read book 1 I had to take a break from the series because the violence of what happened to Jamie was so hard to read. Things don't ever get as bad in the next few books. Anyway. I got up to book 5 but stopped a quarter of the way through because it is soooo slow. I thing you should give the series a try. The books are super long but they are really good. I'm sort of wondering how they are going to continue the show with the characters being 20 years older. I guess Hollywood makeup will make it work somehow.

I read the first two. THey were ok for me - not great. I haven't worked up to the 3rd yet.

It was good! A little slow and predictable but I just love the characters so much, you can overlook the flaws :)

Yeah Teresa book 1 had my heart in breaking for Jamie over and over again but it was really good and then the TV series just added another layer of greatness to the whole experience. I need to get to book 2 soon and I'm hoping it doesn't break my heart over Jamie :'( especially with the 20 year thing....

If you guys haven't read about the Waverley sisters yet, you need to!

I was the same. I really enjoyed this series, crazy as it got. And was glad they were all out when I ran across them.
I really enjoyed the novellas for background additional info - especially Monica - as it ended kinda fast for me.

Thanks Penni I'm really loving them so far and plan on reading all of the shorts too in the advised reading order :)

Can't wait to read this one!"
Oh me too for this one Jenny. Looks really good. I hope it lives up to the expectations.

Oh Rebecca please keep us posted on what you think of this one. I want to read it too and crossing my fingers that it's as good a story as it seems judging by the blurb.

So far yes. I love a troubled hero. But it is a series so I am hoping for no cliffy.

It gets a bit crazier from here. I so love these characters though :-)

These look pretty good!! I just grabbed the first one for free :)

It was good Belkis. Definitely no cliffy. But I felt like the ending kind of fizzled. Can't wait to find out what happens next though. At least it's just a duology.

I've read the first 3. While I enjoyed them I'm not in a rush to finish the series (I have so many other series I need to catch up on). Don't let other people's comments stop you from reading the books. If you love epic romances you love them.
I wonder how the TV series will handle the 20yr jump.
Finished
and it was cute. Stilll ike the 2nd book in this series best so far. I imagine there will be at least 2 more, since there are 5 guys in the band! Still reading
and started

Love this trilogy!

LOVE this series, enjoy :)
