Teresa | 606 comments So I finished Dead of Winter (The Arcana Chronicles, #3) by Kresley Cole . Now comes the waiting for book 4. I liked all 3 of the Arcana Chronicles but book 2 was my favorite. Still don't know if I'm on team Jack or Team Aric. Usually the authors make it a lot easier to pick :)
I just picked up Ever Night by Gena Showalter yesterday. It's a novella, have no idea what it's about but I hope it's good

Laura (llbasaldua) | 790 comments LOL tracy that too! I mean had they been a lil perkier I might not have minded and that "Bush" Holly!! I told the Hubby bout the "bush" he says WHaaaattttt !!??!! LOL yeah I couldnt get him to watch it with me. But yeah for a college student she had some "droopy tits". But yeah everything about the sex scenes were meh and all the pulling his shirt over his head I just started rolling my eyes. It all moved so fast and well really I thought I would like it more because so many people really liked it. Sadly I would rather finish the next two books than finish the movie...

Belkis (bminaya) | 8313 comments Okay finished Second Hand Stops (The Van Buren Series, #1) by Katie St. Claire and it ended up being a disappointing read. Such a shame though, it had potential. It started out good and had some interesting things throughout but ultimately fell short. Sigh. Now I'm about a third of the way into Thirty Nights with a Highland Husband (Daughters of the Glen, #1) by Melissa Mayhue and it's okay so far.

I actually enjoyed The Taking better than The Replaced Jenny. I found book 2 to be a bit sluggish until the last third of the book where the action picked up. But it ended so good! I'm very much looking forward to the last book.

Belkis (bminaya) | 8313 comments I'm almost done with Thirty Nights with a Highland Husband (Daughters of the Glen, #1) by Melissa Mayhue it's been an okay read, not great. Next up for me Dirty Secret (The Burke Brothers, #1) by Emma Hart for a much needed change of genre and because I've wanted to read it since before it released. Then I'm planning to move onto Ruins (Partials Sequence, #3) by Dan Wells so I can finish off this trilogy and find out how this fantastic story ends.

I tried to read the series but had to give up after the first fifty pages since I couldn't stand the characters. So this one is not of much interest to me.

I don't mind to read the same story from another POV if it is well done and adds some additional insight, more scenes etc., but it rarely is well done.

Paula (littledarling2012) | 621 comments Finished Cannon (A Step Brother Romance, #3) by Sabrina Paige and really loved it. I feel she's getting better and better with each book in the series.

Also finished The Uninvited (The MacKinnon Legacy, #1) by J.A. Templeton . Loved the previous series and although it isn't bad, the writing somehow doesn't flow and the characters seem a bit undeveloped.
