It's wonderful when we find a really great story that keeps the momentum going through the entire trilogy!

YES this is definitely another great example of a fantastic trilogy. I recommend this one as well as all of EH's books to everyone hahahaha!

Good because you're sure going to want to jump into book 2 as soon as you're done with book 1 Rachel. Thank goodness all of the books are out and you don't have to wait for them to come out like I had to. The wait for pure torture.

You know Tracy, I LOVED the Eragon movie and was bummed when they didn't continue with the movies for the rest for the books. So I bought all of the books and have them sitting in my kindle but haven't read them yet :( now I have the first book on audio so maybe I'll finally get to it. I do love dragon stories and Eragon was a definite favorite.
was alright. I like Throne of Glass better, which I have seen it compared to. I think I need a contemporary now so maybe

The movie was great and I read all the books after and now I see why they didn't continue the movies. They took so much out of the books that they didn't even give themselves the foundation for the second movie. They edited themselves into a corner. But they are now attempting to resell the rights to have the movie remade. I really hope they do it!

Okay so I finished
and I was sorely disappointed. The premise was such a good one. And the book synopsis had me salivating. But alas the execution fell excruciatingly short. It turned into a mess. The author lost focus and tried to do to many things in one book. Oh well, back to
which is of course fantastic! And OMG I found out that
is out!!!! EEEKKKPPP!! Love Love the Reeds!
Oh Sara these 2 contemps look very good. Keep us posted on how you like them. Also, for some reason the Poison Study books have never really drawn my attention. I tried her other fantasy series
and it didn't wow me either so I only finished the first book.

It really bugs me when books had such great expectations and they fell through miserably.

I liked the movie as well Rachel but can see how they couldn't continue. It would be really cool if they remade it though.

If she just would've kept the focus on the main characters and their main struggles/issues, that would've been more than enough for the one book. But noooo the author went into other subplots and also her character integrity fell through as well making them sort of unbelievable. That's 8 hours I'm not going to get back LOL!

[bookcover:The Darkest ..."Wow great question and great selections Jenny! I'll have to go check what I've read so far from the books released this year and come back :)
Okay Jenny so far from the 2105 releases that I've read (since I still have many to get to yet) these are my faves:
I still have quite a few that I need to get to that I have very high hopes for so I'm sure my list will undoubtedly continue to grow :)
So everyone, I was hoping you could help me out. I'm in the mood for some romance. Something really sweet with a HEA. Any suggestions?

All The Bright Places was amazing! I wasn't thrilled with the new Estes series. I read the first one as a beta and for me it didn't grab me. I do have the other two but haven't read them yet :(

Perhaps I need to read it again. I love David's stuff. I really enjoyed his witch series so much! Maybe I wasn't in a dystopian mood. I think I will enjoy the second book better than I did the first. Lots of world building in the first, so it made it a bit slow for me.

I am halfway through Opal, and I like it so far. But the first 2 books where better. I felt more captured.

I'm not sure if I have mentioned this but I started
by Kathy Reichs and it's a really good YA mystery series, if you're into that. I have almost finished the second one and will probably go on to the next.

@ Jenny, I still need to read a few more new releases for this year that might very well land on the list
@ Teresa, these are all really good and have their HEA endings but don't think that they are all light and sweet, some are though LOL! But they're all very good :P
