No I haven't read any of hers but I have read many others that I love Tracy. Julie Garwood, Johanna Lindsey, Elizabeth Lowell, Loretta Chase, Lisa Kleypas. I have a few of Amanda Quick's books in my library too so I might read them eventually :) way too many books!

I was so angry with Tahereh for what she did to Adam. Everyone's probably tired of reading my rants about it on here, but she created this amazing character in Adam and got us to adore him, then trashed him...grrrr. Okay, rant #29 done. LOL

This is one of the reasons I'm hesitant to keep going with this series - I'm about a quarter of the way through Shatter Me but put it down, I think because another book came out that I wanted to read more…I already fell in love with Adam after only a couple of chapters, but then I heard something happens with him? Not sure what but it's put me off a bit.

I have to read it by the end of this month anyway as the group i'm moderating is discussing it next month but yeah, I'm a little hesitant...

Well, I can definitely understand why you'd be hesitant, because if I had heard this when I read SM I would have felt the same. On the flip side, knowing what you do, you can avoid the need for angry venting because you felt completely duped by the author...so I guess there's a positive in that. I won't spoil the rest of the series for you, but at least you aren't going in with blinders. And I will say, despite how much I adored Adam, Tahereh DOES give you good things with a HEA in this series. So I'm never going to forgive her completely, but my heart is happy with how things ended so you may be too. Give it a go, because it really is an amazing series.

I always thought there was something a little off about Adam and I never loved him. And I thought the way everything unraveled to reveal who all the characters were was masterful.

The thing that I have trouble forgiving Tahereh for is her decision to write a middle grade next. :P

I just read them because I loved Forbidden by Tabitha Suzuma . And I had no expectations at all, but they've blown me away. (Is that even a saying in english?! I have no idea)

Just Laura Wiess managed that before I discovered Tabitha Suzuma .

Confession: Fracture me didn't ACTUALLY come available. they were both number 1 on waitlist, and ignite me came first. I... couldn't wait. So I just read the sample which got me 1 chapter + 1 page of fracture me and then read ignite me anyway. woops.

*sigh* I need to fan myself off a bit at one part. That Warner... mmm. I was disappointed about the Adam thing, but I loved Warner enough that I didn't care enough for it to ruin anything for me. I still have insane amounts of love for this series.

Hidden Wings (Hidden Wings, #1) by Cameo Renae Hrmm well it was very seriously?!? to me and tweenish - at least the Narrator gives it that feel. But the story alone was annoying - not sure Ill be moving on here.

Frostfire (Kanin Chronicles, #1) by Amanda Hocking 3 stars lots of telling not much info on the story and left with a ton of questions at the end.
Ice Kissed (Kanin Chronicles, #2) by Amanda Hocking 4 stars here too but again a lot of telling and details. again leaves you with more questions than answers. Next book is out in August but not sure Ill finish it.

Carnal Secrets (The Phoenix Pack, #3) by Suzanne Wright did a relisten because I saw so many low rating on it an many hated it reviews. didnt hate it but didnt love it 3.5 starrs I guess

Dark Instincts (The Phoenix Pack, #4) by Suzanne Wright 3.5 again didnt love it but didnt hate it.
The first two books I really enjoyed these last two were
just meh ...

Now im starting Cruel Beauty by Rosamund Hodge or Hidden (Bone Secrets, #1) by Kendra Elliot or Touch of Frost (Mythos Academy, #1) by Jennifer Estep - Bought book #1 the rest of the series is on KindleUnlimited Read/Listen for free!
