I really want to read this one Teresa but I haven't found my way to it yet. Glad you're enjoying it. Lots of readers like this one. Hoping to get to it soon-ish.

Yup, I suffered from boredom with this aCoTaR too Brooke. I pushed through it though. I'm glad I stuck with it since it is a beautiful retelling and well written but the pace killed it for me.

I'm not of fan of JLA. Her books just seem to drag out and have too much angst for my taste. Her writing is just not for me. I read the first Lux, the first covenant, the first Wicked. Didn't care much for any. She's just not for me I guess.

I've had this one since it came out and is another one I truly plan to read eventually. I'm glad you're enjoying it. I've read a lot of good things from other readers so I'm looking forward to reading it.

I enjoyed the audios of the first series Kelly. The narrator did a good job with them. I need to check and see if it's the same narrator for this one. If you enjoy audios and the waiting list is shorter I would take the chance :) if I get to it soon I'll let you know how I enjoy it. The issue that I had with The Selection books was the story/MC not the narrator/audiobook though. I'm hoping The Heir is better and that the story and MC are better developed.

This seems to be the general consensus on this one Brooke so I'm just going to sit it out and wait for all of the books to come out before starting any of them.

I'm hoping they will have copies at BEA. I do have a contact, so I'm going to nudge her and see if they are actually giving them out. Publishers often hold off on ARCs of final books in a series. Especially this one since the readers are the ones who chose who Layla would end up with.
