I love action and mysteries Nicole. This one was free and a very pleasant surprise. Glad to hear your mom like it.

LOL! Pucked was really good! I am reading Sincerely, Carter now. I'm about 40% in and it's just meh for me.

YES!!! I laughed a lot when I read it!

43% into
and I'm not really feeling it, to be honest. I don't feel the connection between the main characters. No chemistry for me at all. I'm a bit disappointed since it came so highly recommended.

It just didn't catch my attention. It was not believable for me. And I just didn't like the way the main characters were interacting.

Loved this one, Tiana!!! Definitely a 5 star read for me. And I got choked up at some parts. I love Cherry's other book, Loving Mr.Daniels too!

Depends what you mean by having tissues handy, Tiana."
Lol, it's not that bad Rebecca. It's not like The Fault in Our Stars sad but it made me tear up. I'm an emotional reader so I love books that bring out the waterworks and feelings. Highly recommend it.

Annie, so glad you loved it too. I had started to read Loving Mr. Daniels a while back but the teacher/student scenario reminded me too much of Slammed so I put it down as I wasn't that impressed by it. I might get back to it but the writing wasn't as good as it is with this one.

Always feel good when cleaning out the bookshelves. I've been meaning to do that for a while now but the amount of books I have is daunting lol

You go on the computer you go to my books click a shelf and click batch edit then I made all my reads too to the top and just checked them until I got to one I hadn't read and then "move books to _____shelf" then I removed them from that same shelf. I had to make the new shelf before doing all that but it literally took maybe 5 mins for one shelf not even.

Yeah it doesn't take long but seems a little daunting that's all cause there are so many books lol

I still need to delete some more but there is so many I get tired of scrolling. I decided I'm trying to keep from adding books I own to the tbr list so that cuts it down.

I started
which is horror and I was just going to listen to a little but ended up listening to a lot. It's pretty good, very different.

True. Everyone has their opinion and not every book is for everyone.

LOL!

LOL!
May madness has set in, so things are crazy and I don't have as much reading time. But I saw an advertisement on Facebook saying that
was the next Twilight, so I grabbed it up and dove in last week. Yeah, not so much. It's intriguing and I loved the super creepy Angelfall-type vibe, for sure, but the love story aspect is too flat. There's just no chemistry because the main characters are so one-dimensional and have so little actual time together, and it's a shame because it could have been one of those epic stories that we all read over and over. There's a huge cliffie so I'm going to read the sequel, but I'm not hoping for much.
I also finished
for review and really enjoyed it! I often compare her books to her One Week Girlfriend, which I adored, and this one wasn't AS good, but it's still a definite add for the TBR.
And now I get to dive into
by our Annie!!! <3

I also finished

And now I get to dive into

I'm reading
and I remember this author's writing being so much better. This book is just kind of meh for me and that's disappointing.

Oh that's sad to hear, I've loved all her other books. Still, won't stop me from reading it and deciding on my own :)

I need to read Champion. I like this story just a little confused with the romance part.

Bummer, sorry hon!"
Yup, that sucks. But like you said, different strokes and all that. We all have different tastes. Also, I find you need to be in the mood to read certain books. No biggie though since we have tons of books to read :)

I really enjoyed the Legend trilogy a lot so I'm glad you're enjoying too Kouk.

WooHoo! Go Annie! Congratulations on another book. You're a writing machine :)

Oh ..."
Me too, I hope it's still a decent read. I've enjoyed most of her other books. I still have 2 of her books to get to though.

Yeah very true, I try to organize my reading shelves at least every 6 months or so. Helps me to prioritize which books I want to get to sooner rather than later plus delete any of the ones I might not have any interest in reading anymore.

I tried this author's other series

That does suck. You get invested in the characters to a series and then it's like you HAVE to know what happens. I feel you. But yes, her writing isn't great :(

The writing seems much more juvenile than I remember. Very bland. I remember loving the first book so much. We shall see what happens, I guess.
