I see now that everyone who responded to Melissa was a bit iffy about it. This is the first time I saw anything beyond stellar reviews for it. Glad I'm not the only one.

? They are both much better Beauty and the Beast retellings IMO. Of Beast and Beauty is a YA futuristic retelling. And Entreat Me is a more typical fantasy retelling, which is adult and a bit dark.

I haven't Rebecca. Beauty and the Beast is my favorite fairytale so I haven't read many retellings. I may check them out.
