Didn't get a whole lot of reading done this weekend, but I did manage to finish

I liked it but it wasn't anywhere as good as Bully or Falling Away for me. But she did leave it sort of open ended but I'm dying I want more.

I really liked this one Rebecca even if it doesn't have as much substance as Try.

Didn't like that specific one or the whole bloodlines series? I've only read the first one so far, but am currently #2, 3, and 4 on waitlists for books 2,3 and 4 ironically enough

Book 6 is the last of the series. It was very poorly done. I loved books 1-3 but after that the books started taking a decline. There is a line in I believe book 5 where Syndey basically says she's tired and doesn't want to do this any more. I viewed it as the author telling us that she is tired and doesn't want to put the effort in any more. The way it's written and the way it's said lead me to believe it can be inferred this way. The end of the series was awful. She totally lost sight of her original objective and NOTHING was concluded.

Plan on getting to it sometime this week. Crossing my fingers that work lets me get to it. Lately haven't had as much reading/listening time as I'd like. Between work and kids/family my schedules have been pack-jammed of good stuff but reading time zilch LOL!

The second book was just okay for me Brooke. It was still Drew, just not as good. But this one is great so far. And it's in Matthew's POV.

She had potential, but ending at book 3 wasn't good enough it's just where the series started declining. It was like she didn't care enough to cross reference her character in previous books to make sure they stayed true to themselves. it was awful.

That really bites :( I hate it when series get watered down. I'd rather have fewer books but a strong story. At least it's over.

Series now always get worse the more they right, because I swear most of the time it's more about the money they get from the continuation of the series than how good it is. I thought mortal instruments series got real bad after the 3rd book.
