Belkis (bminaya) | 8313 comments Okay I finished Princess of Thorns by Stacey Jay and it was an okay read. Too slow for like half of the book but thank goodness for the last 30% or so and for the fact that the author wrapped everything up by the end so there's really no need to continue onto any other books for it in the future. Next up I want to start Jake Undone (Jake, #1) by Penelope Ward but I also HAVE TO find a way to read The Mistake (Off-Campus, #2) by Elle Kennedy Broken Juliet (Starcrossed, #2) by Leisa Rayven Overruled (The Legal Briefs, #1) by Emma Chase and then when these come out I'm going to be all over them for sure Prodigal (The Lost Imperials, #2) by Sherry D. Ficklin Riven (The Lost Imperials, #3) by Sherry D. Ficklin EEEKKKPPP!!!

It's not you Ash, there are! Every time we turn around there's another one. I really love it when the retellings turn out wonderful where the author captures just enough of the essence of the original for the readers to grasp the similarity but makes it totally new where we can fall in love allover again. Like in the awesome Lunar Chronicles LOVE LOVE. I also thoroughly enjoyed Of Beast and Beauty by Stacey Jay Cruel Beauty by Rosamund Hodge

I'm almost done. I like it, but I have some issues with Logan's motivations, to be honest. I just don't feel his connection as much to Grace as I want to. I need him to be more connected to her. Drawn to her. Freaking out over her more. I don't know.

I absolutely loved the first book so I've been anxiously awaiting the next one and jump for freaking joy when I saw that 2 are coming out in the next few days!! I guess she decided to divide it into smaller stories which will be great if they're each focusing on a different character. All of the characters from the first book were so well developed . Cannot wait!

Me either Tracy to be honest and that's why I love love love my audios. Every time I see another book I've been dying to get to suddenly be released on audio I jump for joy. To bad that the Courier's Daughter trilogy isn't on audio :( so I I don't know how fast I'll be able to get to it because this weekend I'll be at a family gathering and my youngest is home visiting from college all next week too. Between all of them and work I know I will get zero reading time other than whatever audio I can get to at work. Oh well :)

There are so many I want to read and I can't decide where to start, and it doesn't help I've got the bloody flu and all I want to do is sleep blah. Maybe I should start with Deliverance (Defiance, #3) by C.J. Redwine as it's a buddy read with Tracy and Belkis and I really want to get to The Mistake (Off-Campus, #2) by Elle Kennedy

Honestly, these two could have been one book, with alternating POVs from Stein and Ethan if they really wanted to do it that way (like they did Ember and Lex in the first book). Not sure why they did two (they are both about 200 pages).

It's not bad, but it's not The Deal. I love Logan, don't get me wrong. He's sweet and sexy and there's lots of humor in the book. I just feel like there should have been more of a build up to his longing for her, is all.
