Finished and - loved them both! I wasn't sure what to expect as I've only read Mead's YA stuff (which is the age range I prefer because of the faster pace) however I found that despite the ages of the characters and some more adult themes the structure and pacing wasn't all that different to YA

It's a really original concept and the characters are great - definitely helped to fill the gaping hole left behind by the end of Bloodlines....if only I didn't have to wait for the next one!

You are not wrong! I did like this one a lot. Although, I will say, I've met the author twice and I don't know if she's just not friendly or doesn't like crowds or what but she's kind of flat. I gave her all kinds of compliments and it was hard to pull a thank you out of her.

Finished last night. Completely different from Warbreaker... like a totally different author. Steelheart was good not great for me although I think it'd make for a really good movie.
