Wow 14 hours! That's a long trip Ash. I do loads of reading on my work trips too. Safe travel.

14 hours, wow. I don't think I could handle that. I'm terrified of flying. Anytime I have to fly, I'm a nervous wreck the entire time. I think 4 hours was the longest I've been on a plane.

I hate flying too Bridget. I usually take a pill before I fly. I do a lot of traveling for work and it sucks. I also can't believe that I've done a ton of flying for vacations too. But long 10+ hour trips are the worst.

It's the bane of being an Aussie! 14 hours is actually only part of it (SYD-LAX) I think all up (Gold Coast to NYC) I have about 22 hours in the air...but it's still not as long as a flight to London! I'm a bit of a weird one - being in the air so long really doesn't worry me, I just read and eat and sleep! It's the little flights and stupid airport connections that drive me insane!

Lol, OMG Belkis! What are you doing to my TBR pile?! So I was checking out these books and Things We Know by Heart by Jessi Kirby sounds interesting but it reminds me of the movie Return To Me starring David Duchovny and Minnie Driver which I loved and cried while I watched. I don't want to read it but not if it's a copy of the movie, so can someone please let me know after you read it?

OMG 22 hours??!! Wow Ash.. I hated the 14 hours (I think that's about right with connections LOL!) that it took us to fly from Miami to Maui which was longer than our 9.5 hour flight from Miami to London. My most dreaded work trip is the one I have to do on a pretty consistent schedule from Miami/New York to Portland Oregon and that one's about 8 hours if there are no delays. It gets old after a while though I tell you.

I was thinking the same thing Tiana! And I too loved that movie! Ah, I hope the story in the book is different from the story in the movie. I'm now three quarters through and it has definitely picked up quite a bit...I think a lot of my problem was having to constantly pick it up and put it down again 'cause I haven't had much time for reading in the past week

My biggest issue with TMI was Clary - my god if there is a more irritating heroine out there I dare you to find her! Fortunately Tessa doesn't seem as bad, and I'm definitely intrigued by Will
