Right now Kellan isn't holding my attention because it's going to slow I just want to get to the meat of the story. I may have to pause and do a paranormal book or something. I prefer fast paced books.

Yes Sylvia, agreed. The plot was pretty transparent but still a great read.

I will go back to it though. I'm listening to Bound By Flames right now so I know I wouldn't enjoy it now. Maybe in a few months.

It is a little bit confusing at the beginning but it becomes clearer towards the second half once you've settled into the timeframe of events. I still need to read book 2. and Silas was great. Hot, sweet, needed fixing but knew what he was all about. Liked it. I'm splitting hairs here, but I gave it 4.5 stars because I don't feel like many of the issues were resolved. But I did like it very much. :) Onto

Covenant series is one of my all-time favorite series...EVER! lol It's definitely a must-read, I liked it more than what I got through of VA.
