Okay. I'm sold. A Wicked Thing (A Wicked Thing, #1) by Rhiannon Thomas was at the very top of my to-buy-next list but I think I might boot it down to the second slot and get The Orphan Queen (The Orphan Queen, #1) by Jodi Meadows first instead.

I haven't had a whole lot of reading time over the past two weeks, but once I picked Thoughtful (Thoughtless, #1.5) by S.C. Stephens back up I was a goner. I was in an absolute Kellan Kyle coma for three days, it was pathetic. My heart was torn to shreds, it was so painful seeing that story through his eyes. He will always be my #1 battered BBF, lordy I love that man!!

Trying to read How To Say Goodbye by Amber Lin for review because it's a light read, but it's just meh. Probably good after such an emotionally-draining read, but it's SO dry and lacking emotions that I am just wanting to be done already.

Oh, but Brooke, it looks so good! Now I'm very, very sad. Was there nothing about it that you liked at all? Did it start out strong and then wimp out in the end or was it just pure badness throughout the whole book?

It started pretty strong, then it was just BORING. NOTHING happened. And that's why I didn't like it. Some people loved it, there just wasn't enough substance for me. And I didn't connect with any of the characters. I actually found them all to be quite blah. Except the queen, she was exceptionally evil, the only one with any kind of personality in the bunch. And the romance? ICK!

Oh, man. That's sadness in it's purest form. I guess I'll scratch that off of my list. What about this series? Throne of Glass (Throne of Glass, #1) by Sarah J. Maas Have you read it yet? I haven't read any of them and I was thinking about starting them.

HECK YES!!!! READ IT!!! It is totally fanfreakintastic! Start with the novella book (there's 5 novellas). They give great background about the MC. Then move on to Throne of Glass. Pretty sure there's no one who follows this thread who's read those books that hasn't liked them. I didn't even like fantasy until started ToG series!
