♥ Rebecca ♥ | 1653 comments It never fails. Whenever I order a bunch of books from my library, some may be in my queue for months, but when they decide to finally come, they all come at once. I have Ruins (Pathfinder, #2) by Orson Scott Card The Darkest Part of the Forest by Holly Black and The Conspiracy of Us (The Conspiracy of Us #1) by Maggie Hall all from my library that I have to read before I can get to anything else. :P

Oh my I guess CoHo is doing her thing and tearing up all the emotions as per usual. Love her books so much but yeah they require tissues and chocolates, oh and definitely wine :)

Danielle (Danniegurl) (danniesreads) | 1326 comments So I am rereading Feral Sins (The Phoenix Pack, #1) by Suzanne Wright so I can remember characters I may read book 2 idk. I also reread Cry Wolf (Alpha & Omega, #1) by Patricia Briggs after finally reading Mercy and then the prequel to this book. Made a helluva lot more sense. Then I'm thinking of reading (after Phoenix Pack) Destiny Binds (Timber Wolves Trilogy, #1) by Tammy Blackwell and Vision in Silver (The Others #3) by Anne Bishop and book 2 of Alpha and Omega apparently I am in a shifter kick and didn't notice until now lol.

That's the general consesus I'm hearing from readers about this one Tiana. That it starts of with a bang and then it fizzles out a bit by the end. Oh well, I guess it's only fair that Coho have a somewhat weak book at some point right? She's been hitting everything out of the park forever so seems fair LOL! I'll still be reading it of course cause hello??!! it's Colleen Hoover :P

I'm glad you figured out the Mercy Thompson - Alpha & Omega, storyline thing after all and ended up enjoying Alpha & Omega Danielle since you love werewolf & shifter stories so much and these UF series a very popular and well liked. Seriously, these books are still so expensive. Even the ebook. Maybe check out Scribd Sylvia. I've heard loads of great things about it and they have a free first month trial going on right now. It's cheaper than Amazon's Kindle Unlimited since it's $8.99 and it's unlimited books & audios. Heck the monthly fee afterwards is cheaper than what 1 book would cost.

I agree with you on Maybe Someday Brooke, absolutely LOVED it. Hopeless (and all the books in that story) was fantastic. And I know you didn't love the Slammed books but it was my first CoHo book and I fell head over heels in LOVE with it and all the books in the trilogy actually. I didn't love Ugly Love but it was still a good read. Still need to read Never Never & Confess so I'll see how I feel about them once I get to them. She's had such an unbelievable stride with hit after hit that I guess she's entitled to an okay book once in a while too :)

I think if I read Slammed first, I would have loved it. But I read her later works, and the writing was so much better once she got picked up by Atria. They didn't re-edit Slammed when they took it on and I just think they should have. But so many people loved it and gave it high ratings, I guess they didn't feel the need to do that work on it. And Ugly Love was a good read. I enjoyed it and read it very fast. But I don't think it was fantastic. It was missing a lot. AND being a nurse, I just was annoyed with how she was portrayed in that area. It's nothing like it is in the book. If you are going to get that in depth, with masters degree work and everything, do some research. When I was doing my masters, that's ALL I did. I barely had time to take care of my kids. I didn't love Never Never. it was just ok for me. I felt like it needed more editing and it just kind of trudged along and left me in the dark. Of course the ending was a cliffy, so I will read the next one.

OMGosh your secret is out! How can you live with yourself??? LOL! Hey, not every book is for everyone. I almost DNF'd Point of Retreat. It just didn't keep me hanging on. And I never bothered with That Girl (b/c I just can't see Will's POV as being interesting to me, though maybe I'd like him more if I read that). I've DNF'd quite a few books lately. Books a lot of people loved. Not even book will strike your fancy. And it's not worth wasting your time on something you aren't enjoying when there is so much out there to really enjoy!
