I just started it, tracy, but so far it has my interest. Sage's character is great.

Thanks Danielle :) I'm happy to be back too and yup really liked Matefinder a lot. Want book 2 right now LOL!

I liked this one on audio too, Tracy.

I can't wait to get to it too Sara. Super excited!! Glad you're enjoying it.

That does suck Rebecca. I hope they send you The Mime Order soon. It's so good.

Oh I grabbed The Conspiracy Of Us too, it looks very good. Let me know how you like it Rebecca. I'm sure you'll get to it way before I do :)

Ohhh good to hear Tracy I've got the audio of this one which I got really cheap from Amazon too. Let me know what you think when you're done please.

Thanks Teresa :) very happy to be back. Missed you guys and our daily book chats.

Thanks Nicole

WooHoo Charley Davidson 8!!! Thanks Danielle, can't wait!

Yup Rebecca it really was that long LOL! But I enjoyed it a lot. Want to read the next one asap. And the audio was fantastic.

I totally did Sylvia and I still got a lot of mommy daughter time with my girls too. So it was a very good vacation :)

The False Prince trilogy was very good on audio. I like them a lot too Tracy.

Thanks Tracy, I had a wonderful time.

LOL! Welcome back!"
Thank you Brooke I missed the group and all our daily chats :P

Oh my I guess CoHo is doing her thing and tearing up all the emotions as per usual. Love her books so much but yeah they require tissues and chocolates, oh and definitely wine :)

Thanks Nicole.

That happens to me Rebecca. Even when I put them on hold at different times.

You are determined to finish this series Sylvia.

Well that stinks Tiana.

Well that stinks Tiana.

Lol, guess you'll have to read it and decide for yourself. I don't think Brooke was that impressed either. It wasn't bad, but for a CoHo book it was meh

That's why I have slowed down reading her stuff. I read Ugly Love and it was just OK for me. Maybe if I wait until I can't remember how good Helpless is then her others will appear better.

Yes! I agree. I think it lacked character building, to be honest. I needed more, especially about Owen.

That's the general consesus I'm hearing from readers about this one Tiana. That it starts of with a bang and then it fizzles out a bit by the end. Oh well, I guess it's only fair that Coho have a somewhat weak book at some point right? She's been hitting everything out of the park forever so seems fair LOL! I'll still be reading it of course cause hello??!! it's Colleen Hoover :P

I'm glad you figured out the Mercy Thompson - Alpha & Omega, storyline thing after all and ended up enjoying Alpha & Omega Danielle since you love werewolf & shifter stories so much and these UF series a very popular and well liked. I can't wait to read Vision In Silver really like this series a lot. Ugh! still need to read book 3 of The Phoenix Pack series.

Seriously, these books are still so expensive. Even the ebook. Maybe check out Scribd Sylvia. I've heard loads of great things about it and they have a free first month trial going on right now. It's cheaper than Amazon's Kindle Unlimited since it's $8.99 and it's unlimited books & audios. Heck the monthly fee afterwards is cheaper than what 1 book would cost.

Oh Kay I've wanted to read this one for a long time. Looks so interesting. Please let us know how you like it.

Actually I think she topped off at Maybe Someday. I liked Ugly Love, but it was nowhere near Hopeless or Maybe Someday.

Hoping to finish
today b/c my review is due for the blog tour Friday. Then I have to finish
and post my review and send to the publisher. I am behind in reviews by 5 books. ACK!!!

I agree with you on Maybe Someday Brooke, absolutely LOVED it. Hopeless (and all the books in that story) was fantastic. And I know you didn't love the Slammed books but it was my first CoHo book and I fell head over heels in LOVE with it and all the books in the trilogy actually. I didn't love Ugly Love but it was still a good read. Still need to read Never Never & Confess so I'll see how I feel about them once I get to them. She's had such an unbelievable stride with hit after hit that I guess she's entitled to an okay book once in a while too :)

I have a confession......I didn't finish Ugly Love. I read a few chapters and wasn't into it, the girl annoyed me and I stopped. Now you know my secret. I DNF a Colleen Hoover book:(

I think if I read Slammed first, I would have loved it. But I read her later works, and the writing was so much better once she got picked up by Atria. They didn't re-edit Slammed when they took it on and I just think they should have. But so many people loved it and gave it high ratings, I guess they didn't feel the need to do that work on it. And Ugly Love was a good read. I enjoyed it and read it very fast. But I don't think it was fantastic. It was missing a lot. AND being a nurse, I just was annoyed with how she was portrayed in that area. It's nothing like it is in the book. If you are going to get that in depth, with masters degree work and everything, do some research. When I was doing my masters, that's ALL I did. I barely had time to take care of my kids. I didn't love Never Never. it was just ok for me. I felt like it needed more editing and it just kind of trudged along and left me in the dark. Of course the ending was a cliffy, so I will read the next one.

OMGosh your secret is out! How can you live with yourself??? LOL! Hey, not every book is for everyone. I almost DNF'd Point of Retreat. It just didn't keep me hanging on. And I never bothered with That Girl (b/c I just can't see Will's POV as being interesting to me, though maybe I'd like him more if I read that). I've DNF'd quite a few books lately. Books a lot of people loved. Not even book will strike your fancy. And it's not worth wasting your time on something you aren't enjoying when there is so much out there to really enjoy!
