It never fails. Whenever I order a bunch of books from my library, some may be in my queue for months, but when they decide to finally come, they all come at once. I have
and
all from my library that I have to read before I can get to anything else. :P

So I am rereading
so I can remember characters I may read book 2 idk. I also reread
after finally reading Mercy and then the prequel to this book. Made a helluva lot more sense. Then I'm thinking of reading (after Phoenix Pack)
and
and book 2 of Alpha and Omega apparently I am in a shifter kick and didn't notice until now lol.
Ok so I finished
and it started off stronger than the rest of the book. I'm gonna have to agree with the other opinions, it's just ok. I was hooked into finishing it in one sitting but it lacked a lot of what was in her Slammed and Hopeless series.

That's why I have slowed down reading her stuff. I read Ugly Love and it was just OK for me. Maybe if I wait until I can't remember how good Helpless is then her others will appear better.

Yes! I agree. I think it lacked character building, to be honest. I needed more, especially about Owen.

Oh well, I guess it's only fair that Coho have a somewhat weak book at some point right? She's been hitting everything out of the park forever so seems fair LOL! I'll still be reading it of course cause hello??!! it's Colleen Hoover :P
Danielle (Danniegurl) wrote: "So I am rereading

I can't wait to read Vision In Silver really like this series a lot. Ugh! still need to read book 3 of The Phoenix Pack series.
Sylvia wrote: "Danielle (Danniegurl) wrote: "So both

I've heard loads of great things about it and they have a free first month trial going on right now. It's cheaper than Amazon's Kindle Unlimited since it's $8.99 and it's unlimited books & audios. Heck the monthly fee afterwards is cheaper than what 1 book would cost.

Actually I think she topped off at Maybe Someday. I liked Ugly Love, but it was nowhere near Hopeless or Maybe Someday.

Hopeless (and all the books in that story) was fantastic. And I know you didn't love the Slammed books but it was my first CoHo book and I fell head over heels in LOVE with it and all the books in the trilogy actually. I didn't love Ugly Love but it was still a good read. Still need to read Never Never & Confess so I'll see how I feel about them once I get to them. She's had such an unbelievable stride with hit after hit that I guess she's entitled to an okay book once in a while too :)

I read a few chapters and wasn't into it, the girl annoyed me and I stopped. Now you know my secret. I DNF a Colleen Hoover book:(

I think if I read Slammed first, I would have loved it. But I read her later works, and the writing was so much better once she got picked up by Atria. They didn't re-edit Slammed when they took it on and I just think they should have. But so many people loved it and gave it high ratings, I guess they didn't feel the need to do that work on it. And Ugly Love was a good read. I enjoyed it and read it very fast. But I don't think it was fantastic. It was missing a lot. AND being a nurse, I just was annoyed with how she was portrayed in that area. It's nothing like it is in the book. If you are going to get that in depth, with masters degree work and everything, do some research. When I was doing my masters, that's ALL I did. I barely had time to take care of my kids. I didn't love Never Never. it was just ok for me. I felt like it needed more editing and it just kind of trudged along and left me in the dark. Of course the ending was a cliffy, so I will read the next one.

OMGosh your secret is out! How can you live with yourself??? LOL! Hey, not every book is for everyone. I almost DNF'd Point of Retreat. It just didn't keep me hanging on. And I never bothered with That Girl (b/c I just can't see Will's POV as being interesting to me, though maybe I'd like him more if I read that). I've DNF'd quite a few books lately. Books a lot of people loved. Not even book will strike your fancy. And it's not worth wasting your time on something you aren't enjoying when there is so much out there to really enjoy!
