Ekaterine (thegoddess) | 478 comments Just finished Grave Witch (Alex Craft, #1) by Kalayna Price , I liked it. It was little different and I liked authors take on the fae lore but the end kind of ruined it for me. Currently reading Fashionably Dead (Hot Damned, #1) by Robyn Peterman , it's worse version of the Undead series by MaryJanice Davidson. I just got my Blue Lily, Lily Blue (The Raven Cycle, #3) by Maggie Stiefvater copy in the mail and I can't wait for the weekend to read it uninterrupted. :)

I loved how different it was, I thought the writing was brilliant but I've given up on the series, I read all three that are out, but I have a problem with an author who doesn't say anything for 3 years about a book we are still waiting to come out.... Talking about Grave Witch btw.

Danielle (Danniegurl) (danniesreads) | 1326 comments Idk if I am going to read l Lifers by Jane Harvey-Berrick right now I'm sick, and all discombobulated but I might or I might want something quick and easy for now and then come back to it. Idk. Maybe I'll work on some of the backlog of shows I have.

DNF'd Seeker. Got to 65% and I had no connection with the characters, the plot was confusing/not there, and I think it should be labeled MG, not YA.

What the heck! I read Sweet Evil (The Sweet Trilogy, #1) by Wendy Higgins and Sweet Peril (The Sweet Trilogy, #2) by Wendy Higgins and found them to be OK. Not a wow but I enjoyed them. However, I just finished Sweet Reckoning (The Sweet Trilogy, #3) by Wendy Higgins and from about chapter 27 I was in tears. What I up with that?

Next up is Cruel Beauty by Rosamund Hodge for the Month of Holidays reading challenge and then Voyager (Outlander, #3) by Diana Gabaldon because the book before ended in a major cliffhanger.

Not sure whey writers do that, unless there's a perfectly good reason for it. Is there a blurb for the fourth book?

Tracy, Sweet Temptation (The Sweet Trilogy, #4) by Wendy Higgins is basically from Kai's POV. This is the authors note:

"Sweet Temptation will encompass the entire trilogy in a condensed version, beginning with Kai's life before he met Anna, and taking readers through the epilogue of Sweet Reckoning. Sweet Temptation is a companion novel, not meant to be a stand alone story. It will definitely be a richer experience for those who have read the original trilogy"

Ohhh...thanks Sylvia. I understand now. I don't see why I would need to read this one because I didnt love the first two and I don't want my thoughts on the last one to change. In other words, as a whole I wouldn't want to read the trilogy again.

Oh I really enjoyed Fairest too Teresa and LOVED Cruel Beauty so I hope you end up enjoying too. I SO need to get back to the Outlander series but I dread the goriness and harsh details in the story (at least the first book was quite jarring) and the length of the books (and they get longer and longer as they progress LOL! How did you like book 2 overall? Was it as good as or better than the first one for you Teresa?

Now moving onto Spend the Night II (The Hotel Collection, #2) by Elizabeth Lee to find out what the heck happens next!! EEEKKKPPP!! Addicting! Totally blaming Erin LOL! I think I liked Dragonfly in Amber (Outlander, #2) by Diana Gabaldon a little more than the first. It was pretty heartwrenching and a bit too long if you ask me, but not as gory. Jamie and Claire's love story really grew in the second book in a beautiful way.

Finding Emma (Finding Emma, #1) by Steena Holmes Emma's Secret (Finding Emma, #2) by Steena Holmes was good.

Pretty Instinct (Finally Found, #1) by S.E. Hall which I just couldnt take anymore after 6 hrs of the same ol same ol and nothing happening so I jumped to the end and *sigh* it was still so meh.
also FINALLY finished When We Collide by A.L. Jackson and it was just meh to me also.

Also for the weekly challenge The DUFF Designated Ugly Fat Friend by Kody Keplinger

Finished Fairest (The Lunar Chronicles, #3.5) by Marissa Meyer I enjoyed it but it was pretty short.

and finished REVEALED The Missing Years (Consequences, #4) by Aleatha Romig which I feel like I had already read. ...

Now Im listing to Flat-Out Celeste (Flat-Out Love, #2) by Jessica Park

Oohh that sounds really cool! Definitely going on my TBR....haven't gotten to Age of X yet but have it waiting in my audible library so glad to know it's good! ...once you read TRC you'll get what I mean, she's definitely tied everything up that needed to be tied up but there's enough there for something down the track

Laura (llbasaldua) | 790 comments Hrmm I just read in the article that announced her new Saga that she said this-
Though Mead calls finishing Bloodlines “bittersweet,” she believes that The Ruby Circle brings the story arc to the right conclusion.

But who knows I sure didnt see Bloodlines coming when VA finished.

Yeah I guess Age of X isnt for everyone but Ive fully enjoyed both books out so far. I guess its just a matter of taste.

Yep...this particular story arc has definitely concluded and I think it was done perfectly :).... However I think she may have set another one in motion for some time down the track...you'll know when you read it - it's the kind of thing that if nothing ever comes of it it probably won't be that big a deal, but if she does follow through it'll be fricken awesome!

Tasha, I haven't read the other 2 but I loooooved the maze runner series. My thought on Maze Runner itself, was it took a little longer for me to get into because i'm so used to female narrators, and the boys of the Glade have some of their own unique vocabulary that took a little adjusting, but by the end of it I was hooked, and I felt they just got better and better from book to book

I really liked The DUFF, it was funny and fluffy read. I still have to read the third book in Consequences series. I didn't even know there was a 4th book, I thought she wrapped it up in the third.
