Take comfort in the fact that by the time you're ready for it the final Bloodlines book will be out and you won't have the agonising wait the rest of us have had! THAT'S why you've waited so long lol

I'm with you in that I don't know whether I am convinced enough to read the 3rd but I might wait till the final movie is coming out and read it before then but in no hurry now

Yeah, I read the reviews and it sounds like it's similar to Forbidden in terms of the (view spoiler) Interested in knowing as well though, because I need to be prepared going in if it's going to gut me!

Oh man, read what Tracy wrote in her review cause I didn't spoil anything in mine or go into the discussion thread under Buddy Reads and you will see what we are talking about. But it's a book that you either want to experience whether the ending was what you want it to be or not. The movie is coming out this year too and the casting of the two main characters is spot on.

It always is again having to wait for books to come out. And so true, I think I was avoiding it because of the post-twilight vampire thing. Although, I don't hate on twilight as much.. I probably would have if i'd read them in English, but my Aunt is a librarian and accidentally ordered them in Spanish for her school, so they served as my practice reads!

Yeah Tracy, it's a bit of a different writing style. It kind of threw me because the writing style makes it seem like it takes place... maybe in the past, but then they're talking about tablets and Obama and you're like oh, ok then. It's a quick read though. I think it's worth it

i gave it a 2 star. i did not like the characterization.insta love is grating on my nerves. and i did not like the really uncomfortable triangle between max, adrien and zoel.

People can say what they will about Warner always being better for her, but she MADE so many of her readers adore Adam in Shatter Me, and it irritated me to no end that it suddenly shifted to him being a jerk. He was a jerk because she was cold to him after all he'd done, how is that his fault?? Ugh, don't get me wrong, I loved Warner in the end and he's the epitome of the sexy bad boy, but she seriously did wrong by Adam with this series and it hurt! lol
