Yeah I read and enjoyed Outlander for the most part too Teresa. Goodness that was one long book! And I totally agree with you that some of the stuff that happens to those poor people is bone chilling to say the least. I do sort of want to know what happens to them next but, also like you, I'm not sure if I can muster up enough fortitude for whatever horrific misgivings might befall them in book 2 :(

Amazing author for sure Belkis. Even though I am having problems with it I would recommend it to everyone. It was just beautiful and how I feel doesn't take away from how fabulous the author wrote it.

Hahahaha! Yes she can be Sara :) and that's what I thought too. That's a great idea that Rachel came up for in this story. Moving through the stages of both at the same time. I'm really enjoying it.

I hope you end up liking Legend Tracy. The trilogy is very good imo. I really enjoyed it a lot.

Agreed Tracy. This is one extremely difficult subject and the fact that she tackled it is admirable. And to do it in such an outstanding was is just beyond words.

That's the tough part, finding a YA book that's got all of those things we DO love about the genre without them being cliche and done a million times. Sorry you aren't loving it, I'm STILL looking for that YA read that just hits me and makes me want to read it over and over and over like Twilight. It's so sad. lol

Have you read the Covenant series? Half-Blood (Covenant, #1) by Jennifer L. Armentrout ? I know it's all over here, that's just always the first that pops in my head for kick-ass MC.

Finished Forgotten Sins (Sin Brothers, #1) by Rebecca Zanetti , it was good but didn't blow me away, but I'll be reading the next ones because I like these sexy alpha brothers. =)

Got my package of books 5-12 of the IAD series in the mail today, so I'm starting up Dark Needs at Night's Edge (Immortals After Dark, #5) by Kresley Cole this week! Yay!! Started up Undressed (Country Roads, #4.5) by Shannon Richard for a blog review, excited to read more from Shannon after I loved Unforgettable (Country Roads, #4) by Shannon Richard .

Have you read Throne of Glass (Throne of Glass, #1) by Sarah J. Maas Daughter of Smoke & Bone (Daughter of Smoke & Bone, #1) by Laini Taylor Under Different Stars (Kricket, #1) by Amy A. Bartol Under the Never Sky (Under the Never Sky, #1) by Veronica Rossi Legend (Legend, #1) by Marie Lu Cinder (The Lunar Chronicles, #1) by Marissa Meyer all of these have very strong/kick ass female leads. LOVED them all because they're wonderfully written, tell great stories, but mainly because the female leads are hands down fearless, smart, kind, and will kick anyone's ass seven ways to Sunday LOL!

Lol Belkis, don't push it down, I think it's just me!!! Nothing seems to be keeping me interested lately. I used to be able to speed through books and read 3-4 a week but I'll be lucky to finish one a week these days!

Reading Paper or Plastic by Vivi Barnes and so far I can't get into it. But a trusted friend said she flew through it in a few hours. We shall see. Last time I trusted a friend and an author, I DNF'd a book.

Yeah we all go through those stages every once in a while Tiana. Hang in there. Do you think that maybe a complete shifts in genre will get your reading battery revved up again? Maybe find an interesting book in another genre and give it a try.

Oh goodness Brooke. Yikes! I hope it gets better soon. If not, I say put is aside for a while and read something of your own choosing, something YOU actually want to read for yourself just to get you back on track you know?? Kind of cleaning out the book pallet and then maybe go back to it and see if it gets better.
